Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of New York City.

1. Our current location is Historic Richmond Town, a 100- acre living history museum and village. Pray for the next visiting family to the building above to follow Christ, that their stories may be interwoven with His story.
2. Near our map marker are the United Hebrew Cemetery and the Mount Richmond Cemetery. Pray for a groundskeeper at each location to personally accept the truth of Jesus as the Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25).
3. Also near our map marker is Main Street Coffee. Pray for any Christians who have bought coffee there this year to walk in the Spirit today.

1. As we are nearing the end of Richmond Rd., we find ourselves in a less crowded area. Notice the power lines in the upper right corner. Pray for a lineman who has serviced them previously to be introduced to Jesus, and believe.
2. Not too far from our current location, on Lighthouse Hill, is The Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art (temporarily closed at the moment). It was not until 1948 that the complete Bible was available in the Tibetan language, although missionaries had worked on it for nearly one hundred years. Pray for the museum curator to come across a Tibetan Bible and read it, and for the Holy Spirit to open his eyes to the Truth. Pray that saving faith will then be the curator’s choice.
3. Pray that a Christian on Lighthouse Hill will be a light for the Lord today.

1. Pray that if there are any Christians living in these townhomes, they will reach out to their neighbors with the gospel.
2. Across the street from the view above is a Shell gas station. Pray for the next pickup truck driver who stops there to become a Christian.
3. A pharmacy is also near our current map location. Pray for a Christian who purchases cancer medicine there to know the continued strength of the Father to walk through each day’s challenges.

1. One day, Jesus Christ will catch up all of His own to the clouds, taking them to heaven. Pray for any believers who will cross this intersection today to live in such a way that others will be influenced to trust the Savior as well, that more voices may be added to the eternal worship of our great God.
2. Both sides of the street have food service establishments. Pray for Jesus’ words in John 6:27 to be heeded this year by a worker at each of these five places: Gourmet Food (store), Panino Rustico Staten Island (andwich), Cucina Fresca (Italian), Baya Bar Acai and Smoothie Shop, and Fushimi (Japanese).
3. Just ahead of our current map location is the Moravian Cemetery. Pray for the Holy Spirit to use the sight of that cemetery to convict the heart of someone passing by as to the undeniable necessity of being personally ready to meet God.

Romans 10:14-15

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Los Angeles.

1. Pray for the Lord to have mercy and stop the Palisades and Eaton fires.
2. Pray for Christians who have lost their homes to have God’s peace and resilience, and thus be able to effectively point those who are lost to the stability found only in God.
3. Pray for an evacuee who is on the edge of despair today to hear and believe the gospel, thereby obtaining the hope and Home that nothing can take away.

Romans 10:14-15

Los Angeles, CA, was also the featured city for prayer on August 29, 2021, and July 9, 2022. It is a city that needs the Lord.

1. Pray that the next Amazon delivery driver to traverse the pictured section of Richmond Road will meet and love Jesus, believing all that Scripture declares Him to be.
2. Not far from our map marker is the Dongan Hills Library. Pray that a library worker there will esteem the Word of God as the most valuable book ever.
3. Just past the library is Liberty Avenue. Pray for a pedestrian on that street to find the liberty described by Jesus in John 8:32.

Romans 10:12-13

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of New York City.

1. The business with the blue sign is Crown Trophy. Pray for the proprietor there to become a Christian and love the Lord with all his heart, that he may one day receive a crown to place at Jesus’ feet.
2. Less than a block away from our map marker is Baby Angel Daycare. Daycare services are common throughout the world, yet it remains a fact that God’s ideal environment for children to be cared for is in their own home by a Godly mother. Pray for a mom who has a child at Baby Angel Daycare but would like to make this transition to be enabled to do so.
3. Pray that the next person your age who will cross the intersection of Richmond Rd. & Burgher Ave. will trust Jesus for life and eternity.

Romans 10:12-13

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of NYC.

1. Our virtual prayer walk brings us by this house today. The residents are religious, as evidenced by their yard statue. Interestingly, the statue above is very similar to a large roadside statue in Paradera, Aruba, pictured on TGP’s post for June 18, 2024. Pray for the people who live in this house to have a real relationship with the Lord, depending only on Christ’s finished work as the basis for salvation.
2. Pray for a worker at Honda of Staten Island to likewise be saved.
3. Pray for the Lord to bless the efforts of all His children in the pictured map area who are seeking to serve Him today.

Romans 10:12-13

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of New York City.

1. Pray for the mail carrier who will be delivering mail to this mailbox today, that he would decide to read the greatest collection of letters and books ever delivered to a person – the Word of God.
2. The weather forecast in NYC this week has mostly below freezing temperatures. Pray for someone in the city who has long been cold-hearted toward God to repent before it is too late.
3. Richmond Road (which we are walking along) traverses about half the length of Staten Island. Pray for a Christian who lives on Richmond Rd. to lay up treasure in heaven today.

Romans 10:12-13

The setup for our prayer walk is that the distances entered on the map route are walked during school hours Monday through Friday. Because of Christmas break from school, TGP will pause the prayer walk, and feature prayer requests from other cities around the world for the next two weeks. The Lord willing, our NYC prayer walk will resume Monday, January 6, 2025.
