Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Cavendish.

1. Pray for people in their 50’s who live in Cavendish to hear about, value, and choose the narrow path of salvation.
2. Cavendish is located on Prince Edward Island, and is home to the Green Gables Heritage Place, the farmhouse which inspired Lucy M. Montgomery’s books. Pray for visitors to the house to connect with a believer who can describe the Eternal Heritage Place.
3. The 100-acre Marco Polo Campground is located in Cavendish. Pray that someone vacationing there this week will answer “Polo” in faith to the Spirit’s “Marco” tug on his/her heart.

Hebrews 13:3

On August 10, 2021, we prayed for Jackson, Mississippi. One of the requests was: “Pray for city residents who currently have covid-19 and are not Christians to accept Jesus’ pardon.” Humanly speaking, this was a random prayer request to mention. No stats were known. However, tonight I read an update from Samaritan’s Purse stating that they “are rushing an Emergency Field Hospital to Jackson, Mississippi, after a staggering surge in covid-19 cases.” Perhaps only eternity will show the difference made by all of our prayers just a few days ago. It is an amazing privilege to be on God’s team, and a humbling experience to see Him working to cause us to pray about very real needs.

At the top of every day’s post is a request Jesus said to pray: for the Lord of the harvest to send (literally, thrust out) workers into His harvestfield. The Samaritan’s Purse team on the way to Jackson is an answer to that prayer.

Let us pray again today for Jackson, Mississippi, and for those closest to eternity to make their peace with God. Let us pray for protection and effective ministry for Christian workers there. And, thank you for praying!!!

Acts 1:7-8

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Jackson.

1. Centered in the above picture is the Pearl River. Pray that when Christians going through difficult times see the river, they will be encouraged by the fact that the Lord can use those hardships to produce spiritual pearls.
2. Pray for people named Jackson to be saved and genuinely excited about living for the Lord.
3. Pray for city residents who currently have covid-19 and are not Christians to accept Jesus’ pardon.

Matthew 22:37-40

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Candle Lake.

1. The street sign above reads “Irene Pl.” Irene means “peace,” so pray for the people who live on this road to meet the Prince of Peace, and have His peace as a defining characteristic of their lives.
2. Pray for God’s Light to shine in Candle Lake, and draw many people to Himself.
3. Candle Lake is known for the purple sand that makes a ribbon along its beach. This is caused from the mineral garnet, and ranges in shade and amount from year to year. Pray for customers who shop at the Purple Sands Fishing Store to be caught by a fisher of men for the King most worthy of the royal color purple.

Acts 5:42

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of your state capital.

1. Pray for Christians who work in government positions to have wisdom, courage, and integrity.
2. Pray for the Biblical truth of the sanctity of human life to be upheld/defended.
3. Pray for two lost people who live in your state capital to be saved today.

John 3:16

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Red Earth Creek.

1. Pray for the Lord to send a Christian to this gas station to witness to someone there today.
2. Pray for protection for officers of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police that serve in Red Earth Creek.
3. Pray for the town’s children/teens to see genuine joy in the lives of Christians, and want to know how to have it for themselves.

John 12:46

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Grand Haven.

1. In 2016, the population of Grand Haven was 745 people. Pray for the 100 of those people aged 65 years or older to personally enter the grand Haven of Rest.
2. The Peace River flows near the city. Pray for anyone who has a birthday this week to know God’s peace on a daily basis.
3. Pray for a gospel preaching church to start in Grand Haven.

Matthew 5:14-16

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Monterrey.

1. Monterrey means “King Mountain.” Pray for THE King to be honored and adored in many hearts there today.

2. Pray for carpenters in Monterrey to let the greatest Carpenter of all build His perfect plan into their lives.

3. Pray for the Lord to use this week’s church services to reach the lost and edify the saved.

Matthew 5:14-16

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Washington, D.C.

1. Pray for the pulpits of Washington, D.C. (and the entire nation) to flame with righteousness as preachers point people to the holy God.

2. The above building is a real estate business. Pray for its agents to have personally secured their own real estate in the Celestial City.

3. Pray for Christians with government positions to make decisions based on Truth, rather than political expediency.

1 John 2:15-17

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Nashville.

1. A meeting of Christian leaders from across the nation will occur in Nashville, TN, June 13 – 16, 2021, at the pictured building. Pray for the Lord to be glorified in every decision made, policy decided, and leader elected.

2. Pray for the protection and power of God to be evident in the lives of all those who are standing for the truth of Scripture at this meeting.

3. Pray for many Nashville residents to hear and accept the gospel, as a result of so many Christians coming to their city.
