Today I spent several hours helping my teenage son in one of the preparation phases for the summer ministry in which he will be participating. That gave me the idea to do a special TGP post requesting prayer for youth across our nation that are dedicating a portion of their summer break to making a difference for the kingdom of God. Let us join in prayer this evening for the Lord to bless them and protect them and make their ministries fruitful for eternity. May He open doors of evangelistic and discipleship opportunities, and use their experiences this summer as a catalyst for further work in His harvestfield around the world. May the good hand of our God be on the children and teens who love Him and are willing to step out in their communities for Him. Numbers 6:24-26.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Juanillo.

1. Pray for a couple vacationing at this resort to come to Christ and find rest for their souls (Matthew 11:28-30).
2. Pray for Biblical churches to be established in Juanillo.
3. Pray for a Christian teenager in Juanillo who wants to honor the Lord to never lose that desire.

Galatians 6:9-10

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of San Jose.

1. Pray for employees in the KOED building who will soon be getting off work to think about God and His claims on their lives as they drive home.
2. Two days ago, the 44th Annual Nikkei Matsuri Festival in San Jose’s Japantown occurred. Pray for a band member who participated in the event to know the greatest melody of all, the song of the redeemed.
3. Pray for churches holding services tonight in San Jose, California, to be fruitful in their endeavors to advance the kingdom of God.

2 Timothy 2:1-7

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Spencer.

Spencer, Tennessee, is the location of Fall Creek Falls, a nearly 30,000 acre state park. On April 21-24, at the Piney Creek part of the park, a satanic festival is scheduled and being widely promoted.

The day before Jesus’ resurrection, perhaps the powers of darkness thought they had finally succeeded in their rebellion against the Lord of All. As the Lamb of God overcame then, He will always overcome darkness forevermore. Let us join with other Christians in prayer regarding this event (Ephesians 6:12):

1. As the festival organizers are finalizing last-minute details over the next few days, pray for the Lord to bring their plans to naught, even to the extent that the festival would not occur.
2. Pray for teens / young adults planning to attend out of curiosity to be divinely kept away, and to instead be redeemed by the power of Jesus Christ.
3. Pray for spiritual and physical protection for park rangers and regular park visitors.

Psalm 118:21-26

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Everett.

1. Pray for any sets of twins living in Everett, Washington, to come to know / walk with the God Who gave them life and each other.
2. Pray for babies born around the world today who were / will be named Everett, to one day decide to love and serve Jesus Christ.
3. Pray for a family in Everitt facing bankruptcy to seek and find the wisdom and provision of God in their situation, and give Him glory.

Psalm 118:21-26

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Guasave.

1. There are five animal sculptures along this road. Pray for the salvation of the artist(s) and his family who designed / painted them.
2. Pray for for this Palm Sunday to be a day of great joy for a person just beginning a personal relationship with the Messiah.
3. Pray for lasting spiritual encouragement for a family in Guasave dealing with the terminal illness of a loved one.

Psalm 118:21-26

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Sherwood.

1. Pray for anyone in Sherwood, Arkansas, driving a black car today to be able to personally echo the children’s song “My heart was dark with sin, until the Savior came in…”
2. According to worldpopulationreview.com, the most popular car in the United States is the Ford F-150. Pray for Sherwood residents who own a Ford F-150 to also own a Bible, and cherish it above any other possession they have.
3. Last August, North Hills Baptist Church in Sherwood hosted the “Classic Car Show and Food Truck Festival.” Pray for antique car owners who participated in that event to remember any gospel witness they received, and respond in faith today.

John 12:32

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of St. Kitts and Nevis.

1. Pray for two absentee parents in Newton Ground to know God, and then wholeheartedly follow His plan for their roles in the home, that their children be not left unattended physically, spiritually, or emotionally on the road of life.
2. Pray for John Newton’s song “Amazing Grace” to find resonance in the lives of many people in Newton Ground.
3. Pray for a person who has sincere faith, but misplaced faith, to redirect the focus of that faith to Him Who alone is worthy of our trust.

1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Houston.

1. Pray for the snow plow drivers who keep this road clear to come to know the One Who can make their hearts whiter than snow.
2. On the right side of the road are three Nissen Hut style buildings, one of which is visible in the above picture. Pray for people using the three buildings to hear about God’s good news for life and eternity.
3. Houston is located in the British Columbia province of Canada, and has the world’s largest fly fishing rod. Pray for a local fishing enthusiast to be wonderfully caught by the great Fisher of Men.

Psalm 90

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Graysville.

1. This weekend, members of this church are assembling thousands of John & Romans booklets for free distribution in Hungary. Pray that each copy will change lives for eternity.
2. Pray for teens in Graysville who have attended church but live in rough home situations to follow the Lord’s plan for their lives, thus breaking free from the cycle of sin and despair.
3. Pray for the Light of John 1:5 to be glorified in Graysville until He raptures His children home.
