Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Swindon.

1.   Pictured above is Swindon’s Magic Roundabout, consisting of five small roundabouts joined together. According to Wikipedia, “In 2009, it was voted the fourth-scariest junction in England.” (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_Roundabout_(Swindon)).  Pray for a driver on the Magic Roundabout today who feels like life parallels that exhausting schematic to see that following the Maker’s instructions is the only way off the endless cycle of activity without destination.

2.   Swindon has several museums, including the Museum of Computing and the Museum of the Great Western Railway.  Pray for one worker at each of these two places to realize that he  personally must interact with Jesus Christ, and enter that relationship today.

3. Pray for someone living in Swindon who shares your birthday to also learn how to have a spiritual birthday, and be born into God’s family.

2 Corinthians 4:3-7

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Cluj-Napoca.

1. Pray for the child who owns this scooter to receive eternal life, and have many discipleship opportunities to grow in faith.

2. Jesus said in John 4:23 that the Father is seeking people who will worship Him in spirit and in truth. Pray for Him to find many such worshippers in Cluj-Napoca.

3. Romanian, English, French, and Italian can often be heard in the populous city of Cluj-Napoca. Pray for the resident who speaks the most languages to also be Biblically literate and heaven bound.

Revelation 3:8

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Senj.

1. Above is the Nehaj Fortress, whose name means “don’t care.” Built in the sixteenth century by the Uskoks, the name was given as a reassurance to the townspeople of Senj that they did not have to worry about the security of the fortress, because the Uskoks would never let it be captured. Pray for the Lord to encourage a Christian in Senj today with the truth that His kingdom is eternally unshakable, beyond what any earthly army could ever claim.

2. The Nehaj Fortress is now a museum. Pray for someone who will walk this brick path today to also begin walking the straight and narrow road to the Celestial City.

3. Senj has a population of around ten thousand people. A basic internet search does not produce the names of any Baptist (or baptistic type in doctrine) churches in the city. Pray for this to change.

Romans 10:17

For the next seven weeks, every Sunday morning one category of church workers from a particular continent will be featured. Feel free to also pray for your own corresponding church workers by name as well.

1. Planting and maintaining churches in Europe can often be difficult because of the callousness of people’s hearts toward religion in general. Pray for pastors to walk with God and be encouraged in Him as they lead their congregations this week.

2. Pray for these men of God to be faithful to boldly proclaim the whole counsel of His Word, and not give in to societal peer pressure and the politically correct ideologies that permeate European culture.

3. Pray for European pastors to have and make time for their most important ministry: discipleship of their personal families. Pray also for pastors’ wives to love God with all their minds.

Psalm 122:1

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Pokrovsk.

1. Just a few days ago Russian missiles killed eleven people and injured ten more in the Ukrainian city Pokrovsk. Pray for firefighters who were involved in rescue efforts to themselves be rescued from the spiritual calamity that sins brings.

2. Of the eleven people killed, five were children. Pray for grieving families to obtain the hope and strength that only God can give.

3. Pray for the salvation of a Russian soldier involved in the attack.

2 Corinthians 2:14

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Pisa.

1. Pray for a Christian in Pisa to walk through an open door of Christlike influence opportunity.

2. Pisa is home to a famous leaning tower, caused by the building’s foundational stones being placed on soft soil. Pray for someone in Pisa who is building his life on a soft foundation to hear about and choose the Rock of Ages as the only trustworthy foundation for life and eternity.

3. Pray for a teacher at Pisa’s Elizabeth English Academy to sit at the feet of the Master Teacher (through reading the Scriptures), and come back thirsty to know Him more.

2 Corinthians 4:6

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Cordoba.

1. Cordoba has a rich history, as illustrated by the Roman aquaduct above. Pray for someone in Cordoba who enjoys studying history to pray / apply Moses’ prayer in Psalm 90:12.
2. Pray for true worship, as described by Jesus in John 4:23, to rise from Cordoba to the Father today.
3. Pray for needy children to meet people who reflect the love of Jesus to them.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Antwerp.

1. Antwerp is the city where William Tyndale was betrayed and captured in 1535. Though he was martyred, his work to translate the Bible into English lived on. Pray for people in Antwerp who share his first name to also share his love for the Word of God.
2. Above is the Museum aan de Stroom. Pray for families planning to attend the Christmas workshop a month from today to discover and value the true meaning of Christmas.
3. Belgium is the location for the European Union and NATO headquarters. Pray for the salvation of representatives in both groups.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Celje.

1. Pray for today’s window shoppers along this row of stores to see something the Holy Spirit will use to draw their thoughts / hearts toward the Son.
2. Pray for single parent homes in Celje to know the love of the Lord, giving them strength for daily living.
3. Pray for city sanitation workers to meet the One Who freely makes hearts whiter than snow.

John 14:1-6

1. Pray that someone planning to go this week to the Monte Carlo Casino (above) will be delivered from the addiction of gambling, and, most importantly, stop gambling with their soul’s eternal destiny.
2. Pray for 45 drivers of Ford Fiestas to be saved, that there may be much rejoicing/fiesta time in heaven.
3. Pray for John 4:14 to occur in the heart of someone passing by the above fountain today.
