Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Klenovica.

1. At first glance, there seems to be nothing special about the picture above – it’s just an average view from an intersection of apartment buildings in the distance. But because of the God Who can see through walls, this picture represents everything going on in the lives and souls of the people who live in these dwelling places. Pray for the people themselves to become aware of God’s care, by meeting and then abiding in the Son Whom He sent for them.

2. Klenovica is a quiet fishing village on the Adriatic Sea, and draws vacationers to its beaches. It has been around for at least 638 years  (the first historical mention of it occurred in 1388). A basic internet search does not reveal any evangelical churches in Klenovica. Pray for the Lord to send someone to start a church there, and raise up for Himself many followers.

3. Pray for a person who has a Bible but has never read it to be drawn by the Holy Spirit to pick it up and begin reading it today. Pray for the Spirit to then illuminate that individual’s understanding of the gospel, and for saving faith to be the result.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Munich.

1. Pray for a driver using this roundabout today who feels like life is spent running in circles to hear about the peace of God, and make his peace with God.

2. Not far from the above location is Deutsch Museum. It holds the impressive status of being the world’s largest science and technology museum. Over 50 fields of science are represented by 28,000 objects. Pray for a Christian student visiting the museum to use the Scriptures as a filter before believing everything he sees.

3. Pray for a candymaker in Munich to cherish the Book that is sweeter than all his confections.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Ohrid.

1. As the light of a new year dawns, pray for the cross-work of Christ to transform many lives in Ohrid.
2. According to Wikipedia, Ohrid “once had 365 churches, one for every day of the year, and was known as ‘Jerusalem of the Balkans’.” Pray for Christianity to have genuine authenticity in the lives of adherents, and not just be an outward cultural formality.
3. Pray for people in Ohrid eating donuts today to taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8), and be blessed as they trust in Him.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Zenica.

1. Pray for today’s passengers entering the above bus station to secure their ticket on the only line to heaven.
2. ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steel company, has a factory in Zenica. Pray for crane operators there to know the joy of Jesus.
3. Air pollution in Zenica has been a problem for the last 25 years. Pray for a good solution to be enacted, and for city residents to also find a good breath of air spiritually through the illumination of the Spirit.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Manchester.

At this location yesterday, as Jewish worshippers gathered for the Day of Atonement, an anti-Semitic attack occurred. A vehicle was driven into people standing outside the building, and then the driver got out and began stabbing individuals. Two people were killed, and four others seriously injured.

1. Pray for the six families of the killed / injured victims, that someone from each of them would come to know the stability that only the Messiah can bring.

2. It is very sad that antisemitism has been greatly on the rise in the United Kingdom over the last couple years. How can the world – and especially the Allied nations of WW2 that have historically been bastions of liberty – have so soon after the Holocaust devolved into such terrible philosophies? Yet, we know from Scripture that the “time of Jacob’s trouble” is still ahead. Pray for many, many Jewish people to trust Yeshua for their personal atonement, that they may escape that great tribulation via the rapture.

3. Samaritan’s Purse has sent crisis chaplains to Manchester. Pray for the Lord to give them wisdom and boldness in their endeavors, and for saving faith to be the response of those to whom they seek to minister.

Lam. 3:21-23

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Oradea.

1. Oradea, Romania, is only 32 miles away from yesterday’s featured city: Debrecen, Hungary. As of January 2025, travel between these two neighboring countries became much easier due to a decrease in regulatory border controls. Pray for a family in Oradea who frequently visits relatives in Debrecen to become Christians this year.

2. The pictured balconies are painted vermilion, a shade of bright red-orange. This color is mentioned in Jeremiah 22:14,  describing King Jehoiakim’s luxurious house with painted vermilion walls. The color is also mentioned in Ezekiel 23:14 when describing the Babylonians. Pray that the next person to stand on one of the pictured balconies will not exhibit the pride and paganism of Jehoiakim and the Babylonians, but will instead bow in humility before the Lord God Almighty.

3. Pray for a post-abortion mom in Oradea to find forgiveness and spiritual healing at the foot of the cross.

Isaiah 41:10

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Debrecen.

1. Pray for the person who maintains the row of yellow irises that lines this street to one day walk on the heavenly street made of gold.
2. Historically, much Reformed theological discussion has occurred in Debrecen. Pray for someone there today to make sure he has a personal relationship with God, not just an outward assent to the value of religion.
3. There is a printing press in Debrecen which has been operating since 1561 (britannica.com). Pray that any copies of Scripture printed on it will continue to circulate / change lives.

Colossians 1:16-18

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of London.

London attracts around 30 million visitors each year.  Millions flock to see sites such as Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and Buckingham Palace.

1. Pray that one tour guide leading people through historical sites will be led to the One who began time.

2. Christianity is reported to be the largest religious group, encompassing all Protestant and Catholic religions. Muslims make up the second largest group. England is moving more to secularism. Pray for true followers of Christ to experience personal revival and then bring others to Christ.

3. Pray for one pastor’s wife to be encouraged that her labor is not in vain.

John 4:13-14

Today’s TGP post is very special: it is the first time that both the photos and prayer requests have been submitted by one of our team members. Thanks so much to Cheri Rice Parish for being our “boots on the ground,” and we will look forward to hearing from her again!

1. Pray for someone leaving the port to taste of the Living Water.
2. In a world that focuses on luxury and convenience, pray for one woman on board one of those cruises to recognize that only Christ can satisfy and bring true joy.
3. Alcohol is everywhere on the cruises. Pray that one person will allow Christ to break the addiction that consumes them.

John 4:13-14

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Riga.

1. Pray for someone walking through this doorway this month to also walk through the only Door to eternal life.
2. Riga is the capital of Latvia, and has many concert halls. Pray for an orchestra or choir member to join the greatest song of all…the song of the redeemed.
3. Pray for parents of infants with serious health concerns to look to the Lord for sustaining strength and comfort.
