Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kolaka.

Every post this week will feature a city from Indonesia. Sunday morning, Bill Hall told me an interesting fact that I was very surprised to learn: Indonesia is the fourth most populated nation in the world (after India, China, and the USA). A search of TGP’s two years of featured cities revealed only two from Indonesia. So, with it being a country of 273.8 million souls, let’s get praying…

1. According to the US state.gov website, 87.2% of Indonesians are Muslim. That’s close to 240 million people. Pray for the Lord to bless, provide for, sustain, and receive a bountiful spiritual harvest from every Biblical great commission outreach to these people for whom Christ died.

2. The women/children above are watching an outdoor guitar player perform on a lighted stage. Pray that each person in the picture will hear a Christian song, be curious about its meaning, have an opportunity to learn more, and believe the Truth.

3. Pray for a bricklayer in Kolaka to meet the One who provides rest for both the physically and spiritually weary.

John 3:36

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Slovorodino.

1. Slovorodino began in 1908 during the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway. It is on the Russian-Chinese border. Pray for current railway workers to hear about “The Gospel Train / Happy Day Express,” and secure their personal tickets.
2. Pray for a Bible-preaching church to start in this city of around 10,000 souls.
3. Pray for people of Chinese ethnicity living in Slovorodino to hear the song “Jesus Loves Me” in Chinese, and seek to understand it.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Taipei.

1. Pray for people crossing the above bridge to also hear about and cross the only Bridge to heaven. (John 14:6)
2. Pray for spiritual peace for those currently worried about political tensions.
3. Pray for someone who is handicapped in Taipei to receive the love of Christ today.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Tur’an.

1. Tur’an is a village 4.3 miles north of Nazareth. About 15,000 people live there, mostly Israeli Arabs. There is an evangelical church in Tur’an. Pray for the Lord to bless them in a manner corresponding to their faithfulness to His Word.

2. Although not planned, the photo featured yesterday was located on Islam Avenue, almost the same name as Islam Street, where the photo today is located. (Of course, the two places are on two separate continents.) Pray today for a devoted Muslim family in Tur’an to come to Christ this year.

3. The street curbs of Tur’an are painted in alternating red and white, similar to a candy cane. Pray for someone using public transportation today to believe in the facts that the story of the candy cane illustrates.

Psalm 96:11

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Bailongcun.

1. Pray for cart drivers across the city to hear Who Jesus is, and what He desires most.
2. Pray for opportunities for Truth to be known.
3. Pray for protection in the discipleship process of new believers.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Changsha.

1. Pray for someone passing this pagoda to look up into the sky and see the glory of God, believe in His eternal power and Godhead (Romans 1:20), and then meet someone who can explain how God can be known through Jesus Christ (John 1:14, 14:6).
2. Pray for many copies of the Word of God to be distributed in Changsha.
3. Pray for Christians in Changsha to have wisdom regarding where / when / to whom they should vocally witness.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Petrovsk-Zabaykalsky.

1. Petrovsk-Zabaykalsky is a Russian town not far north of China. It’s population has been decreasing from about 28,000 in 1989 to an estimated 16,000 in 2018. Pray for children using the above playground equipment to have an opportunity to receive salvation while they are still young.

2. Pray for a weary housewife to see the hills and hear / read Psalm 121 with faith and encouragement.

3. Pray for spiritual seeds to grow in the hearts of those who have heard the truth but not yet believed it.

Psalm 96:5

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Sentosa.

1. There is a cute cast iron swing by the above water. Pray for whoever will sit there today to think about any gospel witness they have ever received, and step toward that light. Pray for God to give them further light when they do.
2. Singapore has several amusement parks. Pray that visitirs to those will trust in the living God, Who gives us richly all things to enjoy (1 Tim. 6:17).
3. Pray for believers to exhibit the fruit of the Spirit in their lives.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Raipur.

1. Pray for pedestrians at this intersection to hear the story of Jesus’ love for them.
2. Near the above picture is a Buddhist temple. Pray for a priest there to be delivered from the power of darkness, and translated into the kingdom of God’s dear Son (Col. 1:13 and following).
3. Pray for a child growing up in Hinduism to receive the gifts that only Jesus gives.
