The above picture is from inside the Temple of Leah, an ornate Roman-style complex built in 2012 to memorialize the undying love a widower had for his late wife. Pray that each spouse in Cebu City grieving the loss of a spouse will experience the sustaining comfort only the Lord can provide.
The religion of Taoism seeks to help followers live in harmony with the universe. Pray that a Taoist in Cebu City wrestling with how to obtain peace will have and take an opportunity to come to Jesus Christ, the only answer.
Cebu City is the oldest city in the Philippines. One of the things it is famous for is “mouthwatering food” (federalland.ph). Pray for a roadside vender there today to “labor…for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give…” (John 6:27).

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Yangon.
This picture is from inside Shwedagon Pagoda, a Buddhist temple dating back to the sixth century. Pray for the photographer to find new life in Jesus Christ.
According to christianhistoryinstitute.org, Shwedagon Pagoda was the first thing to grab the attention of Adoniram Judson when he entered Yangon (then Rangoon). Years later after great hardship, Judson would give the people of Myanmar (Burma) the Word of God in their own language. Pray that today the Burmese Bible will once again change a life forever.
Pray for church leaders in Yangon to know how to best lead their people to follow the Lord in the midst of cultural opposition.

1. Pray for someone walking through this gate today to also hear how to enter the only gate to heaven, and take that opportunity.
2. Pray for the Lord to continue using MAF (Missionary Aviation Fellowship) to facilitate the spread of the gospel to remote areas of Indonesia that have never heard the Good News.
3. Pray for believers in Ilaga to have opportunities for further discipleship.

An interesting geological location in the study of plate tectonics, the above picture marks where the Philippine Sea Plate touches the Eurasian Plate. Pray for the next person who will stand on the bronze feet marker (and thus be standing on two different tectonic plates) to learn how to stop standing in the kingdom of darkness and step into the kingdom of the Beloved Son.
Yuli is 12 hours ahead of the United States’ Eastern Time Zone, and home for around 26,000 people. Pray that someone putting a key in a car’s ignition at the same moment you pray will think about the Lord before taking out the car key at the end of the drive.
Pray for a middle school student wrestling with gender identity issues to meet a Christian who will reach out with the Father’s love and truth.

1. Block houses similar to this one are common all over the world. Notice the bamboo in the windows. Pray for the family living here to build their lives on The Rock, that they may successfully withstand the storms of life.
2. Sdi Dhereisa is a school in Rawe. Pray for both a teacher and a student there to be born again.
3. Pray for any Christians in Rawe to grow in their knowledge of the Lord, that they may abide in Him and accurately reflect His image.

These benches are on a river dock. Pray for people who sit on them today to ask questions about their current beliefs that the Spirit can use to point them to the Savior.
Pray for syncretism (of tribal rituals and Christianity) not to have a place in the lives of believers.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kolaka.
Every post this week will feature a city from Indonesia. Sunday morning, Bill Hall told me an interesting fact that I was very surprised to learn: Indonesia is the fourth most populated nation in the world (after India, China, and the USA). A search of TGP’s two years of featured cities revealed only two from Indonesia. So, with it being a country of 273.8 million souls, let’s get praying…
1. According to the US state.gov website, 87.2% of Indonesians are Muslim. That’s close to 240 million people. Pray for the Lord to bless, provide for, sustain, and receive a bountiful spiritual harvest from every Biblical great commission outreach to these people for whom Christ died.
2. The women/children above are watching an outdoor guitar player perform on a lighted stage. Pray that each person in the picture will hear a Christian song, be curious about its meaning, have an opportunity to learn more, and believe the Truth.
3. Pray for a bricklayer in Kolaka to meet the One who provides rest for both the physically and spiritually weary.
Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Slovorodino.
Slovorodino began in 1908 during the construction of the Trans-Siberian Railway. It is on the Russian-Chinese border. Pray for current railway workers to hear about “The Gospel Train / Happy Day Express,” and secure their personal tickets.
Pray for a Bible-preaching church to start in this city of around 10,000 souls.
Pray for people of Chinese ethnicity living in Slovorodino to hear the song “Jesus Loves Me” in Chinese, and seek to understand it.
