1. The above photo is from Manger Square. The background building is the Mosque of Omar, which is across the square from the Church of the Nativity. Pray for visitors to the square to be gripped by the veracity and relevance of the Luke 2 record of the Christchild’s birth.
2. Pray for vendors in the square, such as the cotton candy salesman above, to see the Biblical events as more than just an opportunity to earn an income.
3. Pray for 3 worshippers at the mosque to see Jesus for Who He really is, and trust Him alone for salvation.

1. Pray that someone working in the tall white buildings today will hear God’s truth of redemption, and embrace it.
2. Pray for a person born into a Muslim family who wants to become a Christian but is facing familial pressure not to do so. Pray for the Spirit’s work in his heart to be so strong that he will have courage to follow Christ.
3. Pray for financial provision for the work of printing Bibles in the Malay language, wisdom for the translators, and for Bibles to reach the hands of the people instead of being confiscated by the government.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kohlu.

1. Pakistan is the world’s fifth most populous nation, and has the second largest Muslim population (Google Earth). Pray that Jesus will rescue someone coming to study and pray in this room today.
2. Right now in Kohlu it’s 74° and cloudy. Pray for the person who records weather data in Kohlu to consider the identity of the God Who makes weather, and be open to finding out more about Who He is. Pray for the Lord to then bring an opportunity across his path whereby he might learn more.
3. In 2017, Kohlu’s population was 214,000. Wikipedia quotes the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics on this fact: “Literacy rate in 2014-15 of population 10 years and older in the district stands at 32%, whereas for females it is only 12%.” Other statistics include the following:91% of schools are elementary only, >80% are without electricity, and 90% have no toilet. Pray that the girls who do know how to read will have an opportunity to read the Bible for themselves, and believe in the God Who cares (Genesis 16:13).

1. Pray for a relative of someone buried at this cemetery to meet and believe in the Resurrection and the Life.
2. In 1 Samuel 6, the Philistines returned the Ark of the Covenant (which they had previously captured in battle) to Israel. The oxen carrying the Ark went to Beth Shemesh. The Ark was not magical, but rather a symbol of Yahweh s Presence. One day His literal Presence will be known by all in the Holy Land, but in the meantime, pray for Christians in Bet Shemesh to walk in the power of His indwelling Spirit today.
3. Pray for an individual at the Bnot Vizhnits School to accept the atonement offered by the Messiah.

Deuteronomy 4:39

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of New Delhi.

1. Pray for seven people who pass by these steps to hear about / ascend the only true Ladder to heaven.
2. Pray for visa approval for believers seeking to enter/re-enter the country.
3. Pray for advancement of the gospel in the midst of persecution.

1. Pray that every motorcyclist who crosses this intersection today will have an opportunity to hear the gospel before the end of the year.

2. Not far off the coast of Quang Ngai is the island of Ly Son, used long ago by the Cham people as a stopping off point in their shipping industry. Fresh water could be drawn for ships from the Xo La well, which is still in use today. Pray that the manager of that well will meet the Savior Who visited Jacob’s well long ago to save a Samaritan woman.

3. English is not commonly used in Quang Ngai. However, pray for any Christians who speak English to come across printed / audiovisual materials that will aid them in their walk with Christ.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Chattogram.

1.   Pray for someone riding in a cart like this today to receive the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2.   Muhammad Yumus was just appointed to lead Bangladesh’s interim government. Pray for the Lord to quiet the political turmoil of the country, and to provide an opportunity for Mr. Yumus to hear the gospel.

3.   As of 2022, Christianity comprises only one third of one percent of the nation’s population. Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who make up this tiny percent to be steadfast in their faith, and have opportunities for continuing discipleship and fellowship with other believers.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of the Golan Heights.

1.   Pray for the Lord to open doors of opportunity for Christians to minister to the families of the twelve children who were killed last Saturday by a rocket attack on this soccer field.

2.   Pray for the families of the perpetrators of the attack to be saved.

3.   Pray for wisdom for Israel’s leaders to know how best to respond, and for God to protect the nation from worldwide antisemitism.
