1. Pray for Jesus to shine into the lives of the motorcycle drivers who will use this road today.
2. Skun is known locally as “Spiderville” because of its inescapable 8-legged population. Pray for God’s protection from spider bites, and that residents will recognize His providential hand.
3. Pray for first-year schoolteachers in Skun to meet and come to love the Master Teacher.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kathmandu.
1. Pray for one of Kathmandu’s ambulance drivers who has seen a lot of hard things to meet the Father Who can heal hearts, and promises to one day make all things new (Rev. 21:4-5).
2. Kathmandu was first named “Kantipur,” meaning “City of Glory.” Pray for the Lord to receive much glory from the way His children there live.
3. Mt. Everest is about 100 miles from Kathmandu. Pray for someone in the city who is planning to visit the Mt. Everest base camp to hear and believe the gospel.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Jakarta.
1. Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia, and is located on Java (one of the country’s 17,000 islands). Indonesia lies between Asia and Australia, and therefore Jakarta has been molded by a mix of Asian, European, and Indian cultures. Pray for one Jakarta resident from each of those three ethnic backgrounds to be saved today.
2. Sunda Kelapa is a historic port in Jakarta, and has been influential in helping the city achieve prominence. It’s name means “Coconut of Sunda.” Currently, the port uses two-masted wooden sailing ships to provide freight service between Indonesian islands. Pray for the captain of one of these schooners to let Jesus be the captain of his life.
3. The “Golden Triangle of Jakarta” is where most of the city’s tallest skyscrapers and foreign embassies are located (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Triangle_of_Jakarta). Pray for someone who works in one of those skyscrapers to be given a clear presentation of the gospel, and believe.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Gimcheon.
1. Pray for a driver who traverses the red patch of pavement today to also get on the “narrow road that leads to life” spiritually.
2. Pray for one of Gimcheon’s residents who does not have hope for the year ahead, and even life itself – that the gospel of Jesus Christ will forever change his condition.
3. Located in almost South Korea’s exact geographical center, Gimcheon is on the main transportation route leading from Seoul to Busan. The city is famous for Jikjisa Temple, built in 418. Pray for a family that has been connected to Korean Buddhism for centuries to know the only Way, Truth, and Life, with many family members coming to the Father by Him.
Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Banpo Village.
Archaeological work has shown that Banpo Village was established around 4500 years before the birth of Christ. Worldhistory.com states that over 10,000 stone tools and artifacts have been discovered there. Pray that a student studying the history of Banpo Village today will begin a personal relationship with Jesus.
Pray for a worker in the above building to hear/believe the plan of salvation, that he may also be a worker for the greatest Employer of all.
Banpo Village was a matriarchal society. Pray that many Chinese women will become virtuous women of faith, passing on the Truth to the next generation.

Pray for our Father to remind any of His children who may be on this road today that “the strength of the hills is His also.” (Psalm 95:4)
According to britannica.com, “Tajikistan is among the countries with the greatest potential for hydroelectric power in the world.” Pray for many nationals to know “the power of God unto salvation” (Romans 1:16), given by the same Creator Who blessed their country with natural resources.
Pray for the Tajik Bible to reach a home today that has never before had a copy of the very words of God.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Ahmamau.
Pray for someone viewing the bistro menu wheel above to not take chances (spinning the wheel, so to speak) with his eternal destiny.
There is a large five section building not far from where this picture was taken. Pray for someone looking out one of that building’s windows today to see the glory of God in the sky, and be drawn to want to know Who He is.
Pray for a nurse at the Tender Palm Hospital to meet the Great Physician who can care for her soul most wonderfully.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfields of these four sister cities.
1. Hadera, Israel: Hadera is a town on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea in northern Israel. It is a twenty minute drive south of Caesarea, where Paul was imprisoned for two years under Felix and Festus. Pray for the salvation of the next person to enter the pictured building on the Mifrats Binyamin Beach.
2. El Paso, TX, USA: Pray for a worshipper at each of El Paso’s two synagogues to accept the New Testament as equally authoritative with the Old Testament.
3. Big Spring, TX, USA: Big Spring was originally a major Commanche gathering place to organize trading and raiding groups. The US currently has 17,000 Commanche tribe members. Pray for the Holy Spirit to mightily use the endeavors of Christian Commanches who are reaching out to others with the gospel.
4. Charlotte, NC: Charlotte is home to both a Samaritan’s Purse warehouse and BBN, a major international Christian radio network. Pray for the Lord to bless both of those ministries today.
TGP is pausing the Sister City Series for a day to ask for prayer for the requests below. As always, the overarching prayer is that many Israelis will trust Jesus as their Messiah during this time of national trauma.
1. Hostages: Pray for their protection and soon release. Pray that if there is a Christian among them, the Lord will show Himself strong and be glorified in/through that believer.
2. Gaza Hospital: Yesterday a hospital in Gaza was hit and hundreds of people killed. Hamas immediately blamed Israel, and media sources reported those statements as fact. Israeli officials have presented evidence to US military leaders that the explosion was caused by a Palestinian rocket misfire. Pray for the truth to be known and acknowledged by the international community. Pray for Gaza’s civilians injured in the blast to receive the care they need on all levels.
3. President Biden’s Visit: Pray for the Lord to give clarity of thought to the president, and direct all meetings (as Proverbs 21:1 says He can easily do) for His glory. Pray for other regional aggressors to back away from conflict.
