Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Bet Shemesh.
Pray for a relative of someone buried at this cemetery to meet and believe in the Resurrection and the Life.
In 1 Samuel 6, the Philistines returned the Ark of the Covenant (which they had previously captured in battle) to Israel. The oxen carrying the Ark went to Beth Shemesh. The Ark was not magical, but rather a symbol of Yahweh s Presence. One day His literal Presence will be known by all in the Holy Land, but in the meantime, pray for Christians in Bet Shemesh to walk in the power of His indwelling Spirit today.
Pray for an individual at the Bnot Vizhnits School to accept the atonement offered by the Messiah.
Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Quang Ngai.
1. Pray that every motorcyclist who crosses this intersection today will have an opportunity to hear the gospel before the end of the year.
2. Not far off the coast of Quang Ngai is the island of Ly Son, used long ago by the Cham people as a stopping off point in their shipping industry. Fresh water could be drawn for ships from the Xo La well, which is still in use today. Pray that the manager of that well will meet the Savior Who visited Jacob’s well long ago to save a Samaritan woman.
3. English is not commonly used in Quang Ngai. However, pray for any Christians who speak English to come across printed / audiovisual materials that will aid them in their walk with Christ.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Chattogram.
1. Pray for someone riding in a cart like this today to receive the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
2. Muhammad Yumus was just appointed to lead Bangladesh’s interim government. Pray for the Lord to quiet the political turmoil of the country, and to provide an opportunity for Mr. Yumus to hear the gospel.
3. As of 2022, Christianity comprises only one third of one percent of the nation’s population. Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ who make up this tiny percent to be steadfast in their faith, and have opportunities for continuing discipleship and fellowship with other believers.
1. Pray for the Lord to open doors of opportunity for Christians to minister to the families of the twelve children who were killed last Saturday by a rocket attack on this soccer field.
2. Pray for the families of the perpetrators of the attack to be saved.
3. Pray for wisdom for Israel’s leaders to know how best to respond, and for God to protect the nation from worldwide antisemitism.
“Also Your righteousness, O God, is very high, You Who have done great things; O God, who is like You?”
1 John 2:1
“My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.“
God is always righteous and just. No trace of impurity has or ever will be present in Him. Indeed, He defines what is righteous, and human sin is essentially transgressing what He has declared to be right.
In stark contrast, we are not inherently righteous. Isaiah 64:6 states that our righteousness is as filthy rags. If we are ever to know and fellowship with the supremely righteous God, that problem must be fixed. But how?
The traditional Chinese character for “righteousness” is a beautiful picture that illustrates the Bible’s answer to this dilemma. It is the character for “lamb” over the character for “I/me.” (There are actually several Chinese characters for key concepts that contain the character for “lamb”, highlighting the intersection of ancient Chinese culture with the Truth. See this article for more info: https://answersingenesis.org/jesus/the-lamb-of-god-hidden-in-chinese-characters/ ) As John 1:29 declares, “… Behold! The Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world!”
1. Jesus said in John 16 that one of the Holy Spirit’s jobs would be to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Pray for a student in Xidajiao who is studying traditional Chinese characters to ponder the meaning of the character for “righteous,” and to pay attention to the Holy Spirit’s conviction in her heart. Pray for the Lord to provide that student with the complete gospel message of how to obtain personal righteousness through faith in the Lamb of God.
2. In the foreground of the picture above is an observation deck which provides expansive views of the area. Pray for an individual in Xidajiao to obtain and read a copy of the Scripture, that he may view his own level of righteousness from the observation deck of God’s Word. Pray for him to also read how to make the greatest trade of all time, as described in 2 Corinthians 5:21.
3. Pray for Christians in Xidajiao to more fully understand, appreciate, and apply the implications for daily living of the truth that they have been declared righteous by the Father.
V. 2 – Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits:
V. 4 – Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with chesed and tender mercies.
V. 8 – The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in chesed.
V. 11 – For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His chesed toward those who hear Him.
V. 17 – But the chesed of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on them who fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children,“
Chesed is the Hebrew word often translated “lovingkindness” or “mercy” in the Old Testament. When used in reference to the Lord, it is very often tied to His forgiveness of the sins of those who look to Him (as an example, read the in-between verses of Psalm 103, which were only omitted above to save space). Interestingly, when the Lord passes by Moses in Exodus 34, He mentions His chesed twice as He proclaims His character (“…abundant in chesed and truth, keeping chesed for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin…” vs. 6-7). Truly, we all stand in need of God’s chesed, not just at salvation, but on a daily basis. What a wondrous thing it is, therefore, that chesed is an integral part of His very nature. Come and drink deeply!
1. Pray for the ambulance driver of the above vehicle – who offers physical chesed to those in need – to himself experience the spiritual chesed of God.
2. The world’s largest diamond mine is near Yakutsk. Pray that today, the Lord will redeem the life of a diamond miner, crowning him with His invaluable chesed and tender mercies.
3. Pray for the Father to be glorified in Yakutsk for His chesed!
Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Vang Vieng.
Pray for a person going inner tubing down the Nam Song River today to ponder his standing before the God of Eternity, and yield to the Spirit’s working in his life.
Pray for a Christian mom in Vang Vieng who struggles with stress paralysis to know how to appropriate the Lord’s gracious help in meeting challenges.
Vang Vieng is “surrounded by striking limestone mountains and caves.” (google.com) Limestone is a soft rock easily dissolved by water, which is why many caves worldwide are made of limestone. Pray for someone in Vang Vieng to hear about and take refuge in the Rock of Ages, Who never wears down and whose power can never be eaten away by any dissolvent.

This morning at church, our pastor (Adam Love, Grace Baptist Church) shared information about a brother in Christ. As TGP members, we daily pray for Christ to be known to the peoples of the world. Sometimes, that is all we can do. Other times, there are additional action steps that can be taken. This is one of those times. Please read the short summary below, and then follow the link below for more information.
Pictured above is Zhang Wen Shi, a deacon in a Chinese church along the Chinese – North Korean border. He was kidnapped and taken to North Korea in November of 2014, and has been incarcerated there ever since. Voice of the Martyrs is requesting that many people send this short, respectful message to the UN ambassador from North Korea: “We request the return of Zhang Wen Shi to China.”
Letters may be mailed to:
Kim Song, UN Ambassador
