Bamyan, Afghanistan

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Bamyan.

Pray for there to be three Christians in Bamyan who will stand for the truth of Who God is, like the three Hebrews of Daniel 3 did long ago.
Pray for me Lord to meet whatever today’s needs are that any of His children in Afghanistan have.
Bamyan has historically been a stronghold for the Buddhist and Islamic faiths. The town is also known as “Shining Light” and “Valley of Gods.” Pray that the one true God will shine His light into the lives of many of Bamyan’s residents, and that they will turn to Him alone for salvation.

Doha, Qatar

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Doha.

Pray for a man praying here today to turn to Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father.
Pray for the Lord to meet the daily needs of a Christian family in Doha who has been negatively impacted economically because of their faith.
Pray for God’s protective blessings to be on those who seek to distribute His Word in Doha.

Wonsan, North Korea

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Wonsan.

Pray for each child who plays on Wonsan Beach today to hear about Who Jesus is, and receive His love / offer of salvation.
Pray for a copy of the Scriptures to be found and read by a Wonsan railway worker, and for the Holy Spirit to illuminate what is read.
Pray for a Christian feeling lonely to experience genuine fellowship with another believer today.

Dhaka, Bangladesh

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Dhaka.

1. Pray for one of Dhaka’s rickshaw drivers (example in picture foreground) to be saved today.

2. Although the percentage of born again believers in Bangladesh is less than 1%, pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ there to be used by God to introduce many of their countrymen to Jesus.

3. Pray for Godly teenagers/young adults to meet other Christians with whom lifelong friendships can be established, and thus encourage each other’s faith as iron sharpens iron.

Ghazni, Afghanistan

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Ghazni.

The picture above contains a dramatic contrast between the impressive mosque on the right and the poverty on the left. Pray for a person in Ghazni struggling to put food on the table to meet and love the Provider of all needs.
Pray for Christianity to flourish in Ghazni, and for the Lord to protect His children there.
Pray for Jesus to bless someone in Ghazni who wants to make a difference for Him.

Sigma, Philippines

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Sigma.

1. Sigma is 12 hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time, and their weather forecast for June 20th is a 90% chance of thunderstorms. Pray for anyone who takes refuge under this roadside shelter to also find refuge beneath the cross of Jesus.

2. Pray for Christians in Sigma to find joy in the great faithfulness of God today.

3. Pray for people who feel spiritually unworthy today to find peace in the great worth they have in the Lord’s eyes.

Al-Jafr, Jordan

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Al-Jafr.

1. Pray that the designer of the brick building pattern will meet/trust the Designer who has a beautiful pattern for each life.

2. Pray for open doors of opportunity for believers who would like to share the Good News with others.

3. Pray for the description of the truly blessed man in Psalm 1 to become a reality in the lives of 21 people who live in/around Al-Jafr.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Pyongyang.

1. Pray for the workers who dust the chandelier and change the light bulbs in this hotel to meet and follow the Light of the World.

2. The Potong River runs close to this building and throughout the city. Pray that God will, in like manner, disseminate His Word throughout Pyongyang.

3. Pray for Christian songs to be caught and carried in the hearts of North Koreans.

Da Lat, Vietnam

Pray for the Lord to send workers to the harvestfield of Da Lat.

1. Pray for Christian workers to be blessed in their efforts to gather in the harvest of souls before the night comes.

2. Pray that Buddhists who go to Linh Phuoc Pagoda to worship will come face to face with a gospel witness that offers genuine hope for the questions and sufferings of life.

3. Pray for families who have had miscarriages to hear about and believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Mazar-i-Sharif, Afghanistan

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Mazar-i-Sharif.

Pray for people benefitting from these solar panels to have an opportunity to hear how the God Who made the sun whose energy the panels absorb wants to Himself enter the lives of anyone who will receive Him.
“Mazar-i-Sharif” means “tomb of the saint,” and is the burial place of Muhammad’s son-in-law. It has a population of over 500,000 people. Pray that someone living there who has previously heard about the resurrection of Jesus Christ will trust in this Lord Who is the only Defeater of Death.
Pray for an Afghan family struggling with loss from the traumatic events of last year to find peace from God’s Word.
