Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kok Jar.

1. Pray for the next person in Kok Jar who looks up at a beautiful sunset to be impressed with the Lord Who made it, and want to know Him.
2. Kok Jar is a suburb of Bishkek, the nation’s capital. Near Kok Jar is the American University of Central Asia (AUCA). Last week, AUCA hosted a chess tournament. Pray for the participants in that tournament to have good success in life by following Joshua 1:8.
3. Around the world, the base of tree trunks is often painted white to protect them. Many trees in Kok Jar are painted white. Pray for the painters who do this service to have opportunities to themselves be like the tree described in Psalm 1.

Psalm 90

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kandahar.

1. With a population of about 615,000, Kandahar is Afghanistan’s second largest city. As such, there are many people with many different needs there. Pray that today, someone in Kandahar with a broken heart would meet the God of Psalm 147:3.
2. The green truck in the photo is a police vehicle. Pray for the salvation of a police officer and his family, and for their subsequent protection.
3. Pray for the Lord to provide safe opportunities for corporate worship, fellowship, discipleship, and evangelism for Christians in Kandahar.

Nahum 1:7

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Haid al-Jazil.

1. Pray for people enjoying this scenic overlook to consider the eternality and immutability of the Creator, and be receptive to His work in their lives.
2. There is a small store that sells old relics not far from the above photo. Pray for the man working there today to meet Jesus.
3. Haid al-Jazil is a very small village built on top of a huge boulder above the Wadi Dawan valley. Pray that this month, a teenage girl would hear how / have courage to build her life on the Rock of Ages.

Psalm 102:25-28

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Martuni.

1. Pray for people attending this church to realize that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and can never be earned.
2. Armenia was formerly controlled by the USSR. Pray for someone living in Martuni who still struggles with things that happened under that regime to find healing and hope in the God Who brings beauty from ashes.
3. Martuni’s average weather temperature high in February is 32°. Pray for the Lord to provide heat for a family struggling financially, and warm their hearts with His love.

Psalm 24

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Haradh.

1. Pray for five workers in the oil and gas wells near Haradh to have / take an opportunity to hear the gospel.
2. Pray for someone seeing his shadow today (in a similar manner as above) to also mentally see the shadow of the cross intersecting his life, and turn to accept it full on.
3. Pray for a blind lady in Haradh to experience the love of Jesus and receive spiritual sight.

Revelation 4:11

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Al Khaluf.

1. Pray for today’s visitors to this beach area known as “Sugar Dunes” to think about the God Who thinks about them more times than there are grains of sand.
2. Pray for a boat engine repairman to yield to the Master Who can repair any broken life.
3. Pray for a teenage girl who feels that her future is hopeless to meet the Father Who promised hope and a future to another group of people in Jeremiah 29:11-13.

Ephesians 6 10-18

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Viqueque.

1. The above picture is a broken sidewalk drainage grate. Interestingly, it appears that there is a fern leaf growing in the lower right hand corner, and a white flower growing in the upper right corner. Pray for two people walking along the sidewalk today to see beauty in God’s unexpected work in their lives.
2. Pray that everyone in Viqueque who eats Sedaap noodles (like Ramen noodles) today will also sense the Spirit’s work in his/her heart, and yield to the Lord.
3. Viqueque has a high rate of childhood malnutrition. There is also a high rate of adult cigarette/alcohol use. Pray for the salvation of parents, and for a trickle down effect of that to be for the Lord to give them wisdom in how to best provide for the needs of their children.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kharanaq.

1. Kharanaq is a 4,500 year old city whose name means “place of the birth of the sun.” In 2006, there were 433 people (133 families) living in the New Town section. The Old Town – seen above – was deserted years ago after a drought. Only a few older people stayed in Old Town, hanging onto their homes. Pray for the Lord to send the Truth to them.
2. Pray for a Christian tourist to visit Kharanaq, and for the Lord to open the door for meaningful gospel conversations with teenagers there.
3. Pray for the Everlasting Father to be glorified this Christmas season.

Luke 1:37

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Baku.

1. Pray for today’s shoppers at the above store to hear about the God Who wants to be their Abba, Father, and accept His offer.
2. Maiden’s Tower is a famous landmark in Baku, with much interesting speculation regarding its history. Pray for the next teenage girl visiting the tower to trust Christ as her Savior.
3. Pray for drivers of white cars to respond to the Holy Spirit’s conviction concerning sin, righteousness, and judgement (John 16:8-11), that their hearts may be white as snow (Isaiah 1:18).

John 4:23

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Mary.

1. Pray for families who have recently moved to Mary searching for a better life to hear about the One Who came to give abundant life.
2. Near the town is the archaeological site Merv, once a major stop on the Silk Road trade route. Pray for archaeologists there to personally reflect on temporal versus eternal values, and choose wisely.
3. Pray for anyone named Joseph living in Mary to begin a relationship with Jesus this Christmas season.
