Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Lubango.

1. Pray for the person who hangs laundry out to line dry here to discover how to personally wear the robes of righteousness that Jesus offers freely to all who receive Him.

2. With close to a million people, Lubango is Angola’s second largest city (after the capital city of Luanda). Pray for an outreach to begin to the Ouivamo ethnic group (half African and half Cape Colony Dutch descent).

3. In 1923, the Mocamedes Railway connected Lubango to the coast. Pray for a train engineer in 2023 to board the “gospel train,” with his ticket marked “paid in full” by the Owner of that train.

Psalm 63:3

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kigali.

1. Pray for pedestrians who will use this crosswalk today to encounter a gospel witness of one form or another (person, tract, website, etc.).
2. Kigali has been listed as “Africa’s cleanest city” (nilepost.co.ug). Pray for many residents to ask the Lord to make their hearts clean.
3. Pray for any babies who will be born today in Kigali to hear and accept the gospel at an early age.

Lamentations 3:21-26

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Dikhil.

1. Pray for someone entering this gate to also come through the only Door to eternal life (John 10:7,9).
2. “Dikhil” means “water hole / well.” The town was built by the Afar and Issa peoples by the well of Harrou. Archaeological surveys have found engravings from 3-4 millennia BC (wikipedia). Pray for any living descendants of the town founders to build their lives by the the Living Water, and have their names engraved in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
3. Pray for Biblical churches to be established in Dikhil.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Blantyre.

1. This church was “once described as the first permanent church between the Zambezi and the Nile” (wikitravel.org). Pray for attendees to worship the Father in spirit and truth (John 4:23).
2. Pray for workers serving food at the famous Mandala House today to have their own spiritual hunger satisfied in the Bread of Life.
3. Pray for a thief in the city to receive the Savior’s pardon.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Bo.

1. Pray for people beginning to build new houses in Bo to have the right spiritual foundation for their homes (Psalm 127:1).
2. Pray for employees in Bo with difficult job situations to know the encouragement of the Lord as they face another work day.
3. Pray for someone in Bo who struggles with perfectionism to have God’s wisdom in meeting life’s challenges (James 1:5).

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kazilamihunda.

1.   Pray for pedestrians along this block today to hear a clear gospel presentation, and respond in faith.

2.   Pray for the driver of a 3-wheeled vehicle (like the one above) to have a Christian passenger who will share thought-provoking truths about the Savior.

3. Pray for members of a local children’s choir to sing for the Lord, and be used to draw others to Him.

Romans 10:17

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Aweil.

1. The temperature range for today in Aweil will be 68° – 101°. Pray for people who will sit at these tables to hear about Jesus and respond in faith.

2. Pray for Christians in Aweil to worship and fellowship wholeheartedly on this Lord’s Day.

3. Teak is a tropical hardwood tree whose wood is durable enough to be used for everything from boat building to carvings. There is a teak plantation in Aweil that was planted six years ago this month. The owner still has four more years to wait for the first harvest. Pray that the owner will himself be like the tree described in Psalm 1.

Isaiah 45:22

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Fenoughil.

1. Pray that an employee working in the government office above will meet the One upon Whose shoulder all government will rest (Isaiah 9:6).

2. Fenoughil has a hot desert climate. Pray for a spiritually thirsty individual there to understand how to obtain Living Water (John 4:13-14).

3. Pray for many copies of the Scripture to make it to this town of approximately 15,000 people, and praise the Lord that His living Book will produce faith and not return empty (Rom. 10:17, Is. 55:11).

Psalm 113:3

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Asmara.

1. This service station, the Fiat Tagliero, is shaped like an airplane, and has an interesting history (see https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_Tagliero_Building ). Pray that someone coming there today will meet Jesus as his personal Savior.
2. Pray for a student and teacher at the Red Sea Secondary School to meet the Master Teacher, and believe in Him for all that He is – God incarnate.
3. Pray for believers in Asmara to have opportunities to study the Bible, that they may rightly divide it and not be swayed by every wind of doctrine (2 Timothy 2:15, Ephesians 4:14-15).
