Vaiaku, Tuvalu

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Vaiaku.

Pray for people in Vaiaku who make their living from the sea to meet the Master of the Sea.
Pray for Grace Baptist Church in Vaiaku to be effective in making disciples of Jesus Christ.
The entire country of Tuvalu has a population of around 12,000. Pray for at least one person from every family there to be adopted into God’s family.

John 4:23

Mary, Turkmenistan

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Mary.

Pray for families who have recently moved to Mary searching for a better life to hear about the One Who came to give abundant life.
Near the town is the archaeological site Merv, once a major stop on the Silk Road trade route. Pray for archaeologists there to personally reflect on temporal versus eternal values, and choose wisely.
Pray for anyone named Joseph living in Mary to begin a relationship with Jesus this Christmas season.

Romans 15:13

Mawson, Antarctica

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Mawson.

There are currently 120 people living at Mawson Station, where it is summer. Pray for them to take actions spiritually parallel with the traffic light colored buildings above: yellow (slow down mentally to consider Who God is and what His claims are on their lives), red (stop trusting anything but Jesus for meaning / purpose in life), and green (go forward in His life and strength.)
Mawson is part of the Australian Antarctic Division. Pray for the leaders in Australia to meet Godly Christians who point the way to Jesus by their words / actions.
Only 18 people will live in Mawson once winter begins. Pray for those making preparations to arrive in a few months, that they may bring in their hearts the Friend Who sticks closer than a brother.

Romans 15:13

250th City! Caracas, Venezuela

Today marks the 250th city we have prayed for since Targeted Global Prayer began. How exciting to join together in specific prayer for the advancement of the Kingdom of God! Thank you to each person who prays for the cities of the world; Lord willing, there will be more people around our Father’s throne because of those prayers.

This picture immediately brings to mind Matthew 9:36-38, a beautiful passage illustrating the compassion of Christ. Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Caracas, that many of those 2 million+ individuals may find rest in His compassion.
Pray for any Quechuan people who live in Caracas to hear the gospel in their mother tongue.
Pray for righteousness and justice to flourish, and evil plans to be brought to nothing.

Hoima, Uganda

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Hoima.

Pray for everyone who walks through the above door this week to also have the opportunity to walk through THE Door before 2021 ends.
Since 2006, Hoima has been known as “Oil City”. Pray that someone there who is wrestling today over conflicting eternal and temporal values will choose to live for the true riches of Christ.
Pray for city residents with cardiac ailments to experience the Great Physician’s care physically and spiritually.

Lipljan, Kosovo

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Lipljan.

Pray for soccer players who aim for the above goal to also aim for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Phil. 3)
Pray for ladies who will get their hair cut at the salon in the center white building to realize their great worth to the Lord.
We have prayed for children who play on various playgrounds around the world. Today, pray for the families who come to this park to meet someone who will reflect Jesus’ compassion to them.

Kindia, Guinea

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kindia.

Green typically reminds people of life/growth, so pray for people who will be in the seven buildings with green roofs today to have the life of Christ, and be growing to be more like Him.
Pray for a teenager attending the mosque above to hear about the Father’s love expressed through Jesus Christ, and to receive that salvation.
Rain is in the the forecast for Kindia today. Pray for someone to see that as a provision of the God of the Bible, as described in Psalm 65.

Bennington, USA…Take 2

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Bennington.

On June 22, 2021, Bennington was TGP’s city for the day. We prayed for NEBC, a local Christian college. Today, a lady closely tied to the college is on a ventilator in the above hospital. She is critical but stable, and they are working to wean her off of it. Please pray for this to be successful over the next few days, and for a complete medical recovery, that she may return to her vital supportive role at the college. Pray also for her husband and son during this time.
Pray for the last two children who played on the Stark Street Playground to have a safe and happy childhood, including knowing that Jesus loves them.
Pray for encouragement and strength (physical, emotional, spiritual) for medical professionals in Bennington, as they seek to help others. Pray for the Lord to minister to their deepest needs.

Grahovo, Montenegro

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Grahovo.

The above memorial is a tribute to townspeople who overturned German control of their town in 1941. Leading up the hill to it are 272 steps, each bearing the name of a person who gave his life to ensure freedom for Grahovo. Pray for that kind of courage to find resonance in the souls of today’s generation.
In 1979, two years after the above memorial was built, an earthquake destroyed much of Grahovo, causing the gradual decline of the town. In 2013, the population was 3,091. Pray that between now and Christmas, the Lord will knock on the heart door of every person there, inviting them to know/fellowship with Him.
Pray for the rugged beauty of the mountains to inspire awe of God’s majesty in hikers’ hearts.

Maamigili, Maldives

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Maamigili.

Maamigili is also known as “Whale Shark Island.” Pray for the Holy Spirit to draw the souls of this month’s divers to Himself when they see the Creator’s underwater genius.
Pray for members of the Maamigili Council to seek the wisdom of God as they make decisions both professionally and personally.
Pray for Christians who are in management positions to know the exceeding greatness of God’s power in their lives, enabling them in live out the two greatest commandmentts.
