Bennington, USA…Take 2

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Bennington.

On June 22, 2021, Bennington was TGP’s city for the day. We prayed for NEBC, a local Christian college. Today, a lady closely tied to the college is on a ventilator in the above hospital. She is critical but stable, and they are working to wean her off of it. Please pray for this to be successful over the next few days, and for a complete medical recovery, that she may return to her vital supportive role at the college. Pray also for her husband and son during this time.
Pray for the last two children who played on the Stark Street Playground to have a safe and happy childhood, including knowing that Jesus loves them.
Pray for encouragement and strength (physical, emotional, spiritual) for medical professionals in Bennington, as they seek to help others. Pray for the Lord to minister to their deepest needs.

John 17:25-26

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Grahovo.

The above memorial is a tribute to townspeople who overturned German control of their town in 1941. Leading up the hill to it are 272 steps, each bearing the name of a person who gave his life to ensure freedom for Grahovo. Pray for that kind of courage to find resonance in the souls of today’s generation.
In 1979, two years after the above memorial was built, an earthquake destroyed much of Grahovo, causing the gradual decline of the town. In 2013, the population was 3,091. Pray that between now and Christmas, the Lord will knock on the heart door of every person there, inviting them to know/fellowship with Him.
Pray for the rugged beauty of the mountains to inspire awe of God’s majesty in hikers’ hearts.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Maamigili.

Maamigili is also known as “Whale Shark Island.” Pray for the Holy Spirit to draw the souls of this month’s divers to Himself when they see the Creator’s underwater genius.
Pray for members of the Maamigili Council to seek the wisdom of God as they make decisions both professionally and personally.
Pray for Christians who are in management positions to know the exceeding greatness of God’s power in their lives, enabling them in live out the two greatest commandmentts.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kansk.

Kansk was established 239 years ago. Pray that if any of the founders’ descendants are still living in Kansk, they will have an opportunity in their town to hear about Jesus.
Pray for children who have been adopted from Kansk into American families to know / accept the love of the Father.
Just as the above home has prepared for heat in winter, pray that many homes will radiate the warmth of the gospel to a spiritually cold region.

Lamentations 3:21-23

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Oakdale.

Pray for the Lord to clearly show churches in Oakdale the best ministry path forward during this time.
Pray for Canada to uphold the freedom of individuals to follow the dictates of their consciences / faith.
Pray for the salvation of a member of the Oakdale Golf & Country Club.

2 Corinthians 4:5-7

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of San Nicolas.

Pray for the craftsmen/their families who made the chairs for this restaurant to secure their chairs at the table of the Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
San Nicolas is known as Aruba’s “Sunrise City.” Pray for the Son to rise in many hearts this month (2 Corinthians 4:6).
The Palo Marga International Raceway Park is in San Nicolas, and there is an event scheduled October 16, from 5 PM – midnight. 250 spectators will be admitted. Pray for the salvation of one driver and five spectators.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Port Moresby.

Pray for the young men in this picture to catch a glimpse of Who God is, and have a passion to know/walk with Him.
Pray for two Jewish families in Port Moresby to put their faith in Jesus the Messiah before the end of the year.
Port Moresby is the national capital of Papua New Guinea. Pray for the country’s leaders to make decisions that facilitate freedom of religion and the sanctity of life.

John 6:35

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Ngozi.

Pray for physical and spiritual nourishment to occur in children who worked to grow food this year in Ngozi.
Ngozi means “blessing.” Pray that the blessing of Numbers 6:24-26 will rest on many homes in the town.
Pray for genuine, consistent obedience of the top two commandments to be evidenced in the lives of local Christians this week.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of General Acha.

Pray for weary Christians in General Acha to be strengthened as they “work, for the night is coming.”
Pray for the salvation today of someone who has previously been “almost persuaded” to trust Christ as Savior.
Pray for the salvation of five children today, that they may be spared from a life of sin.
