Da Lat, Vietnam

Pray for the Lord to send workers to the harvestfield of Da Lat.

1. Pray for Christian workers to be blessed in their efforts to gather in the harvest of souls before the night comes.

2. Pray that Buddhists who go to Linh Phuoc Pagoda to worship will come face to face with a gospel witness that offers genuine hope for the questions and sufferings of life.

3. Pray for families who have had miscarriages to hear about and believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

En Nahud, Sudan

Pray for the Lord to send workers to the harvestfield of En Nahud.

1. There are approximately 10 mosques in En Nahud. Persecution of Christians has occurred there. Pray for God to establish His church in the city, and to protect His children.

2. Pray for the concept of God as a loving Father, approachable through His Son Jesus, to be understood and embraced.

3. Pray for the Holy Spirit to convict the heart of the meanest person in town, and save that person as He did Saul of Tarsus.

For the month of June, TGP posts will revisit cities and prayer requests from June 2021. Thank you for continuing to intercede for the peoples of the world.

Asipani, Wallis and Futuna (France)

Eighty years ago today, US Marines landed on the islands of Wallis and Futuna. The current population of the islands is around 15,000. Pray that anyone over the age of eighty will have an opportunity to accept the gospel during the next month.
Pray for the person in Asipani with the highest IQ and the person with the lowest IQ to both trust Christ alone for justification.
Pray for revival in the heart of each Christian in Asipani.

Genesis 1:1

Narva, Estonia

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Narva.

Pray for children who will enjoy these mall stationary vehicle rides this weekend to hear that Jesus loves them.
Narva is a border city between Estonia and Russia. Pray for the tense political situation, as well as Ukrainian refugees in the city. Speaking of them, Katri Raik, Narva’s mayor says, “They have been through hell. It is like the light has gone out of their eyes.” (https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-61555691) Pray for God to turn the light back on with His hope.
Pray for a carpenter in Narva to meet the Master Carpenter Who can frame lives in the very best way.

Youth on Target with God’s Mission

Today I spent several hours helping my teenage son in one of the preparation phases for the summer ministry in which he will be participating. That gave me the idea to do a special TGP post requesting prayer for youth across our nation that are dedicating a portion of their summer break to making a difference for the kingdom of God. Let us join in prayer this evening for the Lord to bless them and protect them and make their ministries fruitful for eternity. May He open doors of evangelistic and discipleship opportunities, and use their experiences this summer as a catalyst for further work in His harvestfield around the world. May the good hand of our God be on the children and teens who love Him and are willing to step out in their communities for Him. Numbers 6:24-26.

Debrecen, Hungary

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Debrecen.

Pray for the person who maintains the row of yellow irises that lines this street to one day walk on the heavenly street made of gold.
Historically, much Reformed theological discussion has occurred in Debrecen. Pray for someone there today to make sure he has a personal relationship with God, not just an outward assent to the value of religion.
There is a printing press in Debrecen which has been operating since 1561 (britannica.com). Pray that any copies of Scripture printed on it will continue to circulate / change lives.

Juanillo, Dominican Republic

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Juanillo.

Pray for a couple vacationing at this resort to come to Christ and find rest for their souls (Matthew 11:28-30).
Pray for Biblical churches to be established in Juanillo.
Pray for a Christian teenager in Juanillo who wants to honor the Lord to never lose that desire.

Galatians 6:9-10

Galindez Island, Antarctica

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Galindez Island.

Galindez Island has areas claimed by three countries. The Vernadsky Research Base is Ukraine’s only Antarctic holding. Pray for Jesus to meet the needs of the twelve people living there whose hearts must be worried about what is going on in their home country.
Named after an imaginary character in A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh, Woozle Hill can be approached from any direction, so encircling footprints are often seen there. Pray for someone on Galindez Island who feels like his life is just going in circles to seek Christ’s help in getting where he needs to be.
Galindez Island is part of the Argentine Islands, Wilhelm Archipelago. Pray for the salvation of the next Argentine naval officer to go to Galindez Island.

Arue, French Polynesia

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Arue.

Pictured above is the tomb of King Pomare V. Google Earth states that it is “temporarily closed.” Although they are referring to the on-site museum, that statement is also true for the people in all graves worldwide (John 5:28-29). Pray that many people in Arue will make preparations now for their future eternal destiny.
Pray for a Christian in Arue who is being tempted by the pull of materialism to remember the lasting satisfaction he already possesses in Christ.
Pray for an athlete competing in the Arue Stadium to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).
