Christopher Lake, Canada

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Christopher Lake.

1. Pray that everyone who attended the Community BBQ referenced above will have an opportunity to receive Jesus as Savior this summer.

2. Pray for the sanitation worker who drives the pictured truck to meet the only Person Who can truly clean a life from the inside out.

3. The village of Christopher Lake is a mile from the lake for which it is named. The lake has a max length of 9.08 miles and a max depth of 33 feet. The nearest Baptist and Bible churches are in Prince Albert, a town 26 miles away from the village of Christopher Lake. Pray for any Christians from Prince Albert who will be fishing on the lake this week to be burdened to start a church in that vicinity.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Bailongcun.

Pray for cart drivers across the city to hear Who Jesus is, and what He desires most.
Pray for opportunities for Truth to be known.
Pray for protection in the discipleship process of new believers.

Haarlem, Netherlands

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Haarlem.

1. Corrie ten Boom and her family did much to aid the Jewish people during World War II. In 1987, a foundation was formed to preserve the spiritual heritage of the ten Boom family / inspire others through turning their home into a museum. Pray that until Jesus returns, the city of Haarlem will always have Christian families who are willing to live out their faith regardless of risks.

2. On this Father’s Day, pray for the salvation of a dad in Haarlem.

3. Known as the “Flower City,” Haarlem is the center of the tulip bulb growing district. Pray for a farmer in that business to love the Word of God, which will last long after all Earth’s flowers have faded (Isaiah 40:8).

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Tullywiggan.

The name “Tullywiggan” possibly means “hill of the quagmire.” (Wikipedia) Pray that five people in the village who are stuck in sin’s quagmire will look to Jesus today for deliverance.
Pray for home solar panel users to realize that they need spiritual power from the Son Who made the sun they depend on every day.
Pray for landscapers who tend the street flower beds (see above) to see God’s hand at work in their lives, and rejoice in His skill.

New Orleans Update

On Monday, TGP team members prayed for someone in the French Quarter of New Orleans to except God’s gift of salvation this week. The Lord answered that prayer, and Monday evening nine people trusted Him as Savior! This is a great example of our Father’s using many of His children to further His kingdom. He coordinates our various efforts of sowing and watering gospel seeds, loving people, praying, and harvesting. Let us continue to seize whatever opportunities we have to make Jesus known to the peoples of the world. Thank you for being part of Targeted Global Prayer!

Joao Pessoa, Brazil

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Joao Pessoa.

People the world over enjoy days by the seaside. Pray for three individuals at this beach today to be able to relax as they hear the rhythmic surf meeting the shore, and think about God when they see the vastness of His ocean (Psalm 46:10).
Joao Pessoa’s Cape Branco Lighthouse is the most easterly point in Brazil. Pray for the lighthouse keeper there to himself see the Light of the World, and be rescued from the perils of sin/unbelief.
One of the city’s industries is the manufacturing of seaweed products. Pray for an engineer in that field to love the Lord with all his mind.

New Orleans, USA

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of New Orleans.

1. A major gathering of pastors is being held at this Louisiana convention center June 11-14. Pray that all policy decisions made will be in line with clear Scriptural doctrine.

2. Pray for someone in the French Quarter to hear about and accept Jesus this week.

3. Pray for a jazz musician whose life circumstances are filled with the blues to meet the “God Who always leads us always in triumph in Christ” (2 Corinthians 2:14).

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Rome.

1. Pray that the groundskeeper for this cemetery will consider his personal standing before the Lord, and be Biblically ready for eternity.

2. Pray for a chef preparing food right now to meet the One Who freely offers eternal food (Isaiah 55:1-3).

3. On April 21, 2023, the city of Rome became 2,770 years old. Metropolitan Rome’s current population is 4,316,000. Pray for 2,770 of those people to be born again this summer.
