Tripoli, Libya

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Tripoli.

In Ezekiel 22:30, the Lord looked for a man to stand in the gap for Israel, but He found no one. Pray that there will be Christians in Tripoli who will stand for the Lord and intercede for His mercy in the lives of their family members and countrymen.
According to wikipedia, most Christians in Libya are foreigners working in the country, rather than Libyan nationals. Less than 1% of Libyans are Protestants, and there is no Bible in the Libyan Arabic language, a variation of Arabic spoken by 6 million people in the country. Pray for these sobering statistics to change.
Pray for Christian families in Libya currently expecting children to be able to bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, that those children may be ardent disciples of Jesus Christ from an early age.

La Esperanza, Peru

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of La Esperanza.

“La Esperanza” means “hope” in Spanish. Pray for three people in the town today to discover and enjoy the eternal hope that’s found in Christ alone.
Translated, the signs above read “Now! Security and Honesty!” Pray that today, someone passing by the signs will realize the incredible security that God brings to the human heart, and the honesty with which He speaks through His Word.
Pray for the editor of the La Esperanza newspaper to come across a story that will compel him to personally investigate the claims of Christ.

Danco Island, Antarctica

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Danco Island.

About 5,000 people live in Antarctica during its summer (October – March). The population drops to 1,000 during winter. Pray for scientists finishing up their winter stay to see the glory of the Creator reaching even where they are.
Danco Island is a penguin rookery. Pray that tourists planning to visit this home of 1500+ penguins will think of the care God has for them when they observe how the penguins protect/shield their young.
Pray for scientific discoveries supporting the Biblical view of young earth Creationism to be made and widely publicized.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Williamsburg.

Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, is a living history museum of American life during the colonial era. Bruton Parish Church (pictured above) is where George Washington attended when he was in Williamsburg. Pray that genuine Christian faith will once again be a hallmark of the USA.
In 2019, there were 1.5 million visitors to the Historic Triangle cities of Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown (dailypress.com). Pray for any of those visitors whose birthday is today to be born again into God’s family.
Pray for one of the tour guides in colonial Williamsburg to see God’s Providential hand in American history, and believe that He is still at work today.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Paphos.

Pray for the Lord to save a national leader and stop the influence of false prophets, as He did in Paphos in Acts 13.
Pray for the landscape workers who keep the above trees pruned to themselves be a planting of the Lord.
Pray that in this crowded city someone will make room for Jesus in his life today.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Eyl.

Pray for someone in the green roofed building today to hear about Jesus for the first time, and accept His salvation.
According to opendoors.org, Somalia ranks third (after Afghanistan and North Korea) for an extreme level of religious persecution. Pray for Christians living there to be encouraged to persevere in living for Christ by the truths of 2 Corinthians 4:6-18.
Pray for the Lord’s protection and provision for Somali pastors and their families.

Yuli, Taiwan

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Yuli.

An interesting geological location in the study of plate tectonics, the above picture marks where the Philippine Sea Plate touches the Eurasian Plate. Pray for the next person who will stand on the bronze feet marker (and thus be standing on two different tectonic plates) to learn how to stop standing in the kingdom of darkness and step into the kingdom of the Beloved Son.
Yuli is 12 hours ahead of the United States’ Eastern Time Zone, and home for around 26,000 people. Pray that someone putting a key in a car’s ignition at the same moment you pray will think about the Lord before taking out the car key at the end of the drive.
Pray for a middle school student wrestling with gender identity issues to meet a Christian who will reach out with the Father’s love and truth.

Guadeloupe is a French owned territory in the Caribbean Sea. Pray for people who will be on the above section of water today to hear about the Master of the Sea very soon.
Guadeloupe is roughly the shape of a butterfly. Often, butterflies are used as an illustration of 2 Corinthians 5:17. Pray for a teenage girl in Saint Francois to become a new creation in Christ this week.
Pray for those searching for Truth not to be satisfied until they find their rest in Jesus Christ.
