Petrovsk-Zabaykalsky, Russia

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Petrovsk-Zabaykalsky.

1. Petrovsk-Zabaykalsky is a Russian town not far north of China. It’s population has been decreasing from about 28,000 in 1989 to an estimated 16,000 in 2018. Pray for children using the above playground equipment to have an opportunity to receive salvation while they are still young.

2. Pray for a weary housewife to see the hills and hear / read Psalm 121 with faith and encouragement.

3. Pray for spiritual seeds to grow in the hearts of those who have heard the truth but not yet believed it.

Gqeberha, South Africa

1. The Cape Recife Lighthouse opened in 1851 to assist ships entering Algoa Bay to avoid such dangers as Thunderbolt Reef and Roman Rock. Instructions on how to safely navigate the area were published as well. Pray for a current lighthouse worker to avoid spiritual shipwreck by looking to the Light of the World and following His instructions.

2. Pray for the salvation of Retief Odendaal, the executive mayor of Gqeberha.

3. Pray for a member of the South Africa Sevens rugby team who has never heard the gospel to have a clear opportunity to be born again.

Sao Gabriel da Cachoeira, Brazil

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Sao Gabriel da Cachoeira

1. Pray for the Baptist church above to be faithful to proclaim and live the Word of God until the rapture.

2. Across the street from the church is the Legislative Municipal Power building. Pray for someone who works there to be curious about the church, come and visit, and receive Christ as his Savior.

3. Pray for Sao Gabriel da Cachoeira’s graduating high school seniors to have a desire to know God above all else.

Birdsville, Australia

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Birdsville.

Pray for today’s diners at the Birdhouse Roadhouse to come and dine at the Master’s table.
Pray for customers at the hardware store (red sign above) to look to God’s Word for the tools they need to fix the broken parts of their lives.
Jesus said in Matthew 10:29-31 that His Father cares for even the smallest sparrows, and much more for His children. Pray for Birdhouse residents to find encouragement /strength in this truth.

Velma, USA

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfields of Velma.

There are six states in the USA with a town named Velma: Virginia, Louisiana, Illinois, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Mississippi. Pray for the salvation of one mother in each of those towns on this Mother’s Day.
Pray for Godly mamas in the towns of Velma to have the good hand of God upon their lives / ministry to their children.
Pray for Godly grandmas in the towns of Velma to know continuing joy as they shine for Jesus to their grandchildren.

1. Barcelona, Spain: Pray for one of the 3,500 Jewish residents of Barcelona to find Sabbath rest in the Messiah today.

2. Aitkin, USA: Pray for a driver on County Highway 30 to notice current wildflowers by the side of the road, and remember Jesus’ words in Matthew 6:25-34.

There is a cute cast iron swing by the above water. Pray for whoever will sit there today to think about any gospel witness they have ever received, and step toward that light. Pray for God to give them further light when they do.
Singapore has several amusement parks. Pray that visitirs to those will trust in the living God, Who gives us richly all things to enjoy (1 Tim. 6:17).
Pray for believers to exhibit the fruit of the Spirit in their lives.

Jamestown, St. Helena, Ascension, and Tristan da Cunha

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Jamestown.

The above 699-step staircase is called “Jacob’s Ladder,” and was built in the 1800s as part of a cable railway designed to transport supplies from Jamestown’s harbor up to Ladder Hill Fort. Pray that a tourist going up Jacob’s Ladder will also ascend the Jacob’s Ladder for which this one is named (Gen. 28:10-19, John 1:50-51).
The island of St. Helena (part of the British overseas territory of St. Helena, Ascension, and Tristan da Cunha) is where Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled / died. Pray that someone living in Jamestown, who on a personal scale mirrors Napoleon’s desire for control and power, to submit to the lordship of Jesus Christ.
Pray for a worker at Into the Blue Diving and Marine Adventures to join the greatest adventure of all – walking with the King.

Manchay, Peru

1. Manchay is one of several shanty towns on the outskirts of Lima. People from the jungle come to the city hoping for a better life. Pray for their physical and spiritual needs to be met.

2. Groups like the Jehovah’s Witnesses take advantage of poverty to gain followers. Pray for God to protect the presentation of His gospel, and help people to understand the true biblical message.

3. Pray for men and women to understand and obey the Scriptural sacredness of marriage.

Pray that people living in these houses by the sea will have Jesus stop by and say “follow me” as He did to Matthew so many years ago, and that they will respond in faith.
Just as the Savior took time to talk to Zachaeus, pray that He will speak to the hearts of any children who climb the above tree.
Pray for the physically weakest person in Apai to know the sufficient grace / strength of our God.
