Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Mount Maunganul.

1. Pray for a construction worker doing remodeling work in Mount Maunganul to realize his personal need for remodeling by the Master Builder.

2. Mount Maunganul is the headquarters of Conqueror Virtual Challenges, a program available worldwide to help people become more physically active. Pray for the Lord to bless the efforts of participating Christians, who are striving to be physically fit that they may serve Him longer.

3. Pray for a paddle boarder in Pilot Bay Beach to trust in the God Who is even more vast and wonderful than the oceans.

Pensacola, USA

1. Pensacola, Florida, is home to Naval Air Station, the premier training base for US Navy, Marine, and Coast Guard aviators. The famous Blue Angels are headquartered there as well. Pray for one of the six Blue Angel pilots to become a child of God.

2. The Reef is a bar near Pensacola Beach with a definite sensual atmosphere. Pray for someone who frequents the Reef to be delivered from the bondage of sin by the Truth that sets men free.

3. Pensacola is also the home of a large Christian college and textbook publishing company. Pray for the Lord to encourage any students there who happen to be homesick today.

Dire Dawa, Ethiopia

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Dire Dawa.

1. Pray for the people who design and build gates used in Dire Dawa, that they themselves would enter through the straight gate that leads to everlasting life (Matthew 7:13-14).

2. Pray for anyone in Dire Dawa who has lost / will lose a tooth today to hear the good news about salvation this year.

3. Pray for someone selling produce at the Kafira Market to become a Christian, and then be instrumental in leading his family to Christ.

Manaus, Brazil

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Manaus.

1. 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 says that Christians are to be a sweet savour of Christ (both to the Father and to other people), diffusing the knowledge of God wherever we are. Although we are not sufficient for this on our own, the verses also say that “God always causes us to triumph in Christ.” Pray that believers in Manaus today will have lives that waft the perfume of Jesus across the consciousness of all those with whom they interact.

2. With a population of over 2,220,000, Maunas is a great harvestfield of souls. Pray for individuals who are ready to accept the gospel to have an opportunity this week to do so.

3. Manaus is the jumping off point to the Amazon Rainforest, and is home to the scientific National Institute of Amazonian Research. Pray for a secretary at the institute to meet Jesus.

Niamey, Niger

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Niamey.

1. The Great Mosque of Niamey (pictured above) can accommodate 15,000 worshippers (https://www.kidventuresai.com/Location/niamey_niger/Activity/visit-the-grand-mosque-of-niamey). It has a minaret with 171 steps. Wikipedia describes a minaret as “a type of tower typically built into or adjacent to mosques. Minarets are generally used to project the Islam call to prayer, but they also serve as landmarks and symbols of Islam’s presence.” (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minaret). Pray that 171 people who frequently come to worship here will truly understand and believe that “there is one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.” (1 Tim. 2:5)

2. Niamey is the capital city of Niger. Pray for governmental leaders to make policy decisions and laws that facilitate freedom of religion.

3. Pray for a dozen homeless people in Niamey to find both a physical home now, and a guaranteed promise of future residency in the city with foundations, whose builder and maker is God (Heb. 11:10).

Chasiv Yar, Ukraine

1. After intense fighting, Russian forces took control of Chasiv Yar, Ukraine. This was a strategic win for Russia. Pray for those wounded in the fighting to receive care for their bodies and souls.

2. As of summer last year, there were fewer than 1,000 civilians still living in Chasiv Yar. Most had evacuated due to the war, and the town became a fortification from which Ukraine could move troops forward. Pray for the civilians facing new survival challenges due to yesterday’s events.

3. Pray for any Christians in Chasiv Yar today to continually be aware of the Lord’s presence with them, come what may.

For the Christian, there is nothing quite like the triumphant joy of Easter morning. Jesus wins! Sin and death are defeated forever; the victory is eternally the Son’s. Hallelujah!

Thank you for praying for the requests in each of these posts! There are many major lakes and rivers that did not get featured, so today, please pray for these things:

1. People living near a river or lake close to where you live.

2. People living near any freshwater body you want to pray for from a different part of the world.

3. That the Word of God would be widely available to people living near China’s Yangtze River. It is earth’s longest river that is completely contained in one nation, and the third longest river there is in the world. A third of China’s population – 400 million souls – live within the Yangtze’s drainage basin.

Lake Huron: North America

Shared by the USA and Canada, Lake Huron could almost hold the state of West Virginia entirely on its surface. Thirty thousand islands rise above the lake’s surface, including the popular vacation destination Mackinac Island. Lake Huron connects to Lake Michigan via the Straits of Mackinac. Lake Huron has more coastline miles than any of the other Great Lakes, and is the world’s fifth largest freshwater lake.

1. Pray that every person in the water at Lake Huron today will come across something from the Word of God by the end of this summer, and that the Holy Spirit will keep bringing it to their attention.

2. Pray for a groundskeeper at the Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse to himself meet the ultimate Lighthouse Who rescues lives from sin’s shipwrecks.

3. Pray for a Lake Huron tugboat operater to know the God Who can move life’s heaviest burdens.
