Mandalay, Myanmar

1. Pray for everyone who walks under this archway today to think about any gospel witness they have ever been given, and respond in faith.
2. When Adoniram Judson went to Burma, he became the first foreign missionary from America. Pray that the descendants of people he witnessed to in the 1800s would receive a personal gospel witness during their lifetime.
3. Pray for Myanmar nationals who are studying abroad to accept Christ, and return to their country with a contagious joy.

1. This cross is on the grounds of Camp Rain, a Christian summer camp near Decherd, Tennessee. This week, the camp is hosting an intensive CEF training camp for Christian Youth in Action volunteers from across the state. Beginning next week, these young people will be leading 5-day clubs throughout the state: teaching Bible and missionary stories, memory verses, and songs in community centers, churches, and backyards. Praise God for every young person across our nation willing to step up to the plate to make a difference for His kingdom, and pray for His hand to always be on their lives. Pray for there to be a bountiful spiritual harvest in the lives of the children they will be presenting God’s Word to this summer.

2. Pray for physical stamina for all the leaders and campers as they finish out the week.

3. Pray for someone in Decherd who is passionate about baseball to be even more excited about knowing and walking with the Lord.

Cusco, Peru

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Cusco.

1. This statue honors the most famous Incan leader/martyr in the Great Andean Revolt of 1780-1783. It is located in a plaza where handicrafts are sold on the weekends. Pray that three teenagers inspired by Jose Gabriel Tupac Amaru’s story will also hear about the Rider who will one day mount a white horse to victoriously lead heaven’s armies (Rev. 19:11-16). Pray that those youth will give their adoring allegiance to this Lord of Lords.

2. Pray for an artisan preparing items to sell this weekend to accept Jesus and thus become one of the Father’s own workmanship pieces (Eph. 2:10).

3. Pray for someone eating pesto in Cusco to realize that it is the God of the Bible Who has invented enjoyable food flavors, and to express gratitude to Him for all His gifts.

1. This corner was one of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s favorite spots in her home. She called it the “living picture windows,” because the scenery outside was always changing. Her husband Almanzo built the center table from a cypress tree. There are more than 30,000 visitors annually to the Wilders’ farm in Mansfield, Missouri. Pray that one of today’s guests will see something that the Holy Spirit uses to draw him/her to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

2. Laura made the following statement, which is posted in the museum: “The responsibility for starting the child on the right way is the parents – it cannot be delegated to the schools or the state, for the little feet start on life’s journey from the home.” Pray for parents across our land to wholeheartedly embrace and act on this truth.

3. Laura also said, “The Little House books are stories of long ago. Today our way of living and our schools are much different; so many things have made living and learning easier. But the real things haven’t changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful, to make the most of what we have, to be happy with simple pleasures, and have courage when things go wrong…” Pray for Christians in 2023 to let God make these “real things” characteristic of their lives.
