1. The above photo was taken at the Mangrove Medokan Ayu, an outdoor tourist attraction in Surabaya. Pray that someone taking a similar photo this week by the above star will also hear about the Bright and Morning Star, and find redemption in Him.

2. Surabaya is a major city with its own Chinatown and Arab Quarter. Pray for one person from each of these two sections of the city to be saved today.

3. Tugu Pahlawan, or Heroes Monument, memorializes the 1945 battles for independence that occurred in Surabaya. Pray for every person in Surabaya who was born in 1945 to trust Christ as the only way to obtain spiritual freedom, and then grow in their walk with Him, that the number of heroes of faith may increase.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Bethany.

The above picture is from inside the Rink Antique Gallery in Bethany, Oklahoma. Pray that shoppers there today will see items among the colorful hodge-podge that the Holy Spirit uses to draw their hearts toward Christ.
Pray for anyone in Bethany celebrating his/her birthday today to also have a spiritual birthday into God’s family.
Near Bethany is Skate Galaxy. Pray for every seven year old skater going there this week to hear about the love Jesus has for him/her.

Cape Town, South Africa

1. Pray for someone who will stand on this street corner today to become a Christian.

2. Pray that if any believers happen to be in the striped building above, they will yield to the Spirit’s work in their lives to make them more like the Son for the glory of the Father.

3. Nicknamed South Africa’s “Mother City,” Cape Town is the country’s legislative capital and oldest city. It has also born the names “Cape of Storms” and “Cape of Good Hope.” Pray that someone experiencing stormy times in life will know the truly good hope found in Jesus Christ.

Pray for people who wait today for a bus in the gray enclosure to accept Christ.
Pray for a Christian to give a gas station attendant a gospel tract, and for the attendant to read/understand/believe/grow.
Pray for churches to be planted in Republiek that will shine God’s light until He returns.

Havana, Cuba

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Havana.

1. Pray for every driver of a VW Bug or a Bicitaxi in Havana to hear the phrase, “Jesus Loves You” sometime this spring, find out what that means, and then believe it.

2. Castillo de la Real Fuerza is the oldest stone fort in the Americas (wikipedia). It was built to protect Havana from pirates, and in English its name means “Castle of the Royal Force.” Spiritually speaking, every Christian should stand as a castle strengthened by the most royal of forces – the King of kings. Pray that believers in Havana will know the good hand of God upon their lives every day, that sin may no more hold dominion.

3. Pray for the providence of God to intervene in the life of a teenager who will stand in one of the pictured doorways above today, pondering the meaning and purpose of his or her existence.

Aura, Finland

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Aura.

1. Pray for every person living in a home in this picture to have an opportunity this year to have his heart made whiter than snow.

2. Aura is named after the Aura River, and “aura” is the Finnish word for “plow.” The shape of the area is roughly that of a plow. Pray for any Christians in Aura to find strength/rest in the fact that they are in the yoke with the gentle Master, whose burden is light (Mt. 11:28-30).

3. In the Middle Ages, pilgrimages were often made to the Turku Cathedral, which is a thirty-one minute drive from Aura. Recently, Aura River Pilgrimages have begun again as an advertised way to find a spiritual connection with history and/or nature. Stops along the way range from Iron Age ritual to Catholic to Evangelical Lutheran sites. Pray for a pilgrim to meet Jesus, the only true spiritual connection to the Father’s gifts of forgiveness, purpose, and peace.

Remote Areas of Kyrgyzstan

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of the remote areas of Kyrgyzstan.

1. On the right side of the picture is a “little house on the prairie.” Several horses are grazing in the field, and the haze of distant mountains is visible in the background. Kyrgyzstan has many remote areas such as this, single dwellings away from any town or village. Pray for the light of the gospel to penetrate even these hard-to-get-to places.

2. Pray for someone working with horses in a remote area to hear about and follow the Horseman Who will one day ride down from the sky on a white horse to reign over all the earth.

3. Pray for distribution of the Kyrgyz Bible to increase, and be received with open hearts.
