Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Edinburgh of the Seven Seas.

  1. Located in the South Atlantic, Edinburgh of the Seven Seas is part of a British territory. Pray for a gospel witness to reach this settlement of a few hundred people.
  2. Pray that the next people to stand at this overlook will ponder the most important questions of life, and have / take the opportunity to believe the Bible’s answers to those questions.
  3. The Camogli Hospital was built in 1971, and moved into a new building in 2017. This four bed facility is staffed by regular visits from off-island doctors, dentists, and optometrists, with local nurses providing continuity. Pray for one of those nurses to meet and enlist in the service of the Great Physician, Who is adequate to treat needs of both soul and body.

Bet Shemesh, Israel

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Bet Shemesh.

  1. Pray for a relative of someone buried at this cemetery to meet and believe in the Resurrection and the Life.
  2. In 1 Samuel 6, the Philistines returned the Ark of the Covenant (which they had previously captured in battle) to Israel. The oxen carrying the Ark went to Beth Shemesh. The Ark was not magical, but rather a symbol of Yahweh s Presence. One day His literal Presence will be known by all in the Holy Land, but in the meantime, pray for Christians in Bet Shemesh to walk in the power of His indwelling Spirit today.
  3. Pray for an individual at the Bnot Vizhnits School to accept the atonement offered by the Messiah.

Congo (Zaire) River: Africa

The Congo River is Africa’s second longest river, and the world’s third largest river by discharge volume. With a maximum depth of 720 feet, the Congo River is the deepest river in the world. It provides 30% of the continent’s freshwater, and close to 80 million people live in the Congo River basin.

1.   Praying for the nine pictured people who are shipping wood on the Congo River to hear and believe the gospel before the end of this year.

2.   Around 500,000 African Pygmies (very short people) live in the Congo basin. Sadly, many African countries consider these tribal groups to be second class humans, and they don’t enjoy the same access to citizenship, education, and property ownership. 3.   Pray for a person living in close proximity to the Congo River who shares your name (or a translation with the same meaning as your name) to become a child of God, that he or she may one day receive a special new name in glory (Rev. 2:17).

  1. Albany, USA: Pray for Albany s voters to recognize the truth of Psalm 2 and its relevancy to the current national election, voting accordingly.
  2. Talca, Chile: Pray for the Holy Spirit to give Christians in Talca ideas of what they can do to make a difference for the kingdom of God in both their city and the world.
  3. Limoges, France: Pray for a patron of the city’s L’Agape restaurant to believe the manner in which God demonstrated His agape love, as described in John 3:16.

  1. Pray for people living in Talca whose souls are bowed down like the above tree to personally experience Psalm 145:14.
  2. Talca is known for its wine production. Pray that people seeking to escape life’s pressures through alcohol will instead turn to the only One Who has the answers.
  3. Pray for the Holy Spirit to give Christians in Talca ideas of what they can do to make a difference for the kingdom of God in both their city and the world.

  1. Pictured above is Galilee Street (Rue is French for “street”). Pray that someone traveling on this street today will become an ardent disciple of the Galilean Who still calls men to follow Him.
  2. Limoges is famous for its great quantity of decorated porcelain. Pray for an artist there who tends to treat people badly to realize that every human being is made in the image of God, and therefore more valuable than any porcelain piece, beautiful though it may be.
  3. Pray for a patron of the city’s L’Agape restaurant to believe the manner in which God demonstrated His agape love, as described in John 3:16.

Quang Ngai, Vietnam

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Quang Ngai.

1. Pray that every motorcyclist who crosses this intersection today will have an opportunity to hear the gospel before the end of the year.

2. Not far off the coast of Quang Ngai is the island of Ly Son, used long ago by the Cham people as a stopping off point in their shipping industry. Fresh water could be drawn for ships from the Xo La well, which is still in use today. Pray that the manager of that well will meet the Savior Who visited Jacob’s well long ago to save a Samaritan woman.

3. English is not commonly used in Quang Ngai. However, pray for any Christians who speak English to come across printed / audiovisual materials that will aid them in their walk with Christ.
