Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Mexicali.

Pray for several drivers on this highway today to tune into a Christian radio station and hear the gospel, that they might have an opportunity to escape the broad way of destruction, and find the narrow way that leads to life.
To the left of the picture is the Toro Toro Sushi Bar and Grill. Pray for a customer there today who is wrestling with life’s complexities to meet Jesus.
Pray for a Mexicali resident whose last day on earth is today to have one more chance to receive salvation before it’s too late.

Kurakhove, Ukraine

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kurakhove.

From the same news source as the picture is this morning’s update on Kurakhove:

“Set on Ukraine’s eastern front, Kurakhove is surrounded on three sides, with Russian forces just under 2 miles (3 kilometers) from the devastated city center.

Yet between 700 and 1,000 local residents remain, most of them living in the basements of apartment buildings, without running water, heating or electricity. The only place to charge phones is in the basement of the building now housing the city administration.

The exact number of people is impossible to determine because, since mid-October, no humanitarian volunteers have come to Kurakhove.”

Pray for the Lord too meet the spiritual needs of those 700 – 1,000 residents this morning. With the impending Russian takeover, they are in a terrifying situation. Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill any Christians among the residents with a powerful sense of His presence and peace, that they may minister to those around them, and that many unsaved people will believe the gospel.
Pray for the Lord to protect innocent lives in Kurakhove, and provide continued food, water, shelter, and communication with loved ones.
Pray for the salvation of three Russian soldiers who are advancing on the city.

Kohlu, Pakistan

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Kohlu.

Pakistan is the world’s fifth most populous nation, and has the second largest Muslim population (Google Earth). Pray that Jesus will rescue someone coming to study and pray in this room today.
Right now in Kohlu it’s 74° and cloudy. Pray for the person who records weather data in Kohlu to consider the identity of the God Who makes weather, and be open to finding out more about Who He is. Pray for the Lord to then bring an opportunity across his path whereby he might learn more.
In 2017, Kohlu’s population was 214,000. Wikipedia quotes the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics on this fact: “Literacy rate in 2014-15 of population 10 years and older in the district stands at 32%, whereas for females it is only 12%.” Other statistics include the following:91% of schools are elementary only, >80% are without electricity, and 90% have no toilet. Pray that the girls who do know how to read will have an opportunity to read the Bible for themselves, and believe in the God Who cares (Genesis 16:13).

Lake Victoria: Australia

Named for the same British queen as Africa’s Lake Victoria, Australia’s Lake Victoria is smaller, yet also of historical and current importance. It is part of the Murray-Darling Drainage Basin, and has been a First Nation place of living for thousands of years. It currently does not exceed a depth of eighteen feet, and serves as a reservoir for extra water from the Murray River, releasing water to the south as needed.

1. Pray for the salvation of an archaeologist who has excavated around Lake Victoria. Many artifacts have been uncovered, but pray for an archaeologist to find an even greater treasure in the truth of the Word of God.

2. Pray for Christian outreaches among Australia’s aboriginal people to being forth much fruit.

3. Pray for the professional who makes the final call on regulating water flow out of Lake Victoria to cheerfully let the Lord make the final decisions for his life.

Pray for someone using one of these blue barrels in Kingston today to know the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding.
Pray for someone in Kingston who thinks of the USA as heaven-on-earth to gain citizenship in that City with foundations, Whose Builder and Maker is God.
Pray for a person who desperately wants to belong somewhere to discover what it means and how to be accepted in the beloved Son.

National Day of Prayer for the USA

While this post was originally published on the official National Day of Prayer (5-2-2024), considering the spiritual condition of our country and the election tomorrow, it behooves us to spend time again today beseeching God on behalf of our land.

1. Pray for revival in the church.

2. Pray for regeneration of the lost.

3. Pray for real change to start today.

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Bremen.

1. The Exit the Room building in the foreground is an escape room center. First started in Japan in 2007, these businesses are now popular worldwide. Pray for one of today’s participants at the above location to hear about and take the only escape from sin’s eternal judgement.

2. Pray for an elementary student (anywhere in the world) reading the famous story “Bremen Town Musicians” this week to hear and accept the gospel.

3. Pray for a homeless person in Bremen to embrace by faith the beautiful home offered freely by the Prince of Heaven, Who once was homeless Himself for our sakes.

1. Pray for the next person to check the time on the center clock to heed the truth of “now is the accepted time…of salvation.” (2 Cor. 6:2)

2. Brussels is the headquarters of the European Union. Pray that an employee there will put faith in Christ alone for eternal life.

3. Pray for regeneration and subsequent discipleship to occur for one of the members of the EU of the Deaf.
