Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Berlin.

1. The Engelbecken area of Berlin we are now in is translated “Angel Basin,” and has been described as a small oasis in the city. After World War II, it was a harbor basin filled with the war’s destructive debris. Later, it became part of the Berlin Wall border (the paving stones in the foreground of the picture trace the Berlin Wall path). After the wall fell, the basin area was filled up to make a green recreational space. It is meant to be a refreshing and restful area, and is a sharp contrast to the boisterous Kreuzberg district we just walked through. Pray for a person who often walks along Engeldamm Street, that during those walks the Holy Spirit will bring compelling thoughts concerning the need for salvation, and that the individual will not turn away from that conviction.
2. Around 1 in every 30 Berlin residents own a dog. This number is a significant increase from pre-covid stats. Pray for the pictured lady, that she will come to know the Friend Who sticks closer than a brother or a dog or anyone else. He is the One Who never leaves or forsakes those who trust in Him. Pray for her to enjoy His friendship forever.
3. Pray for a family who has newly moved to Berlin, and whose children will be starting a new school today. Pray for the Lord to give the family Christian friends who will point them to Jesus.
