Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Tokyo.

1. The Shinto shrine we are at today was established in AD 730, and honors the “Seven Gods of Fortune.” Today it is also popular because of its eclectic combination of Shinto traditions and current cultural drawing points, like a large anime collection. Outside the shrine is a monument which reads “A place of honor and prosperity.” In John 5:44, Jesus highlighted the fact that the people of His day were seeking honor from each other, and not the honor that comes from God only. Pray for someone visiting the Kanda Myoujin Shrine today to become aware of / embrace the fact that the one true God is the only One worth pursuing, and from Him alone comes genuine honor.

2. We are currently in Tokyo’s Chiyoda City ward. Pray for any Biblical churches in Chiyoda City that have evangelistic outreaches coming up, that the Lord will bless those endeavors and use them to bring many people into His kingdom.

3. Pray for a believer in Tokyo who deals with the same health challenges that you do, that the Lord will give grace and strength to that person day by day, just as He promised He would do for His people in Deuteronomy 33:25.

Luke 9:23
