Hitotsu Bridge (Tokyo, Japan)

Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Tokyo.

1. Pictured above is a bridge support. Though often unnoticed by the drivers crossing the bridge, the supports are essential to the stability (and therefore the success) of the bridge. A person’s character is the same way; it is the behind-the-scenes qualities of a life that become the hallmarks of who we really are. Pray for Christians crossing Hitotsu Bridge this week to yield to the transformative work of the Holy Spirit as He daily develops Christ like character within them.

2. Pray for a lost person who has recently visited the nearby Edo Castle Ruins to be profoundly aware of / believe this truth: “And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever” (1 John 2:17).

3. The average number of children in a Japanese family reached the record low of 1.2 in 2023. Many are concerned because this falls below the 2.07 benchmark needed for population stability. While several prayer requests could be drawn from this statistic, let us specifically pray today for the Father to bring many children to the homes of Christians who desire this very wonderful gift (Psalm 127).
