- Many countries celebrate December 26 as Boxing Day. Tradition states that this holiday started as a way for employers to show appreciation to their employees, because the household servants had been required to work on Christmas Day. The employees would be given the day off work and a box of extra Christmas food, gifts, and money. Boxing Day continues to be celebrated in various ways in different countries. Pray for the true meaning of Christmas to be remembered and celebrated this Boxing Day.
- The children in the above picture have been through a difficult year with their mother having cancer. Pray for the Lord to put Christians in their lives who can mirror and explain the love of Jesus to them.
