Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Mount Washington.

1. Mount Washington is located in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, and is the highest peak in the Northeastern USA. It is known for extreme and sometimes volatile weather. The highest wind speed ever recorded in the world was documented to be 231 mph on Mount Washington in 1934. Staff for both the observatory and the state park live on the summit all year long, taking rotating shifts of a week at a time. Living quarters are in the lower floor of the office building, and that building has been designed to withstand winds up to 300 mph. Pray for the salvation of a staff member who is on Mount Washington this week, that his / her life will become founded on the only Rock that can withstand every storm of any type.
2. Expert level backcountry skiers come to Mount Washington for the thrill of the challenge to successfully ski down Tuckerman Ravine and the Gulf of Slides. (There is no typical ski resort or ski lift service on Mount Washington due to the dangers of avalanches.) Pray for the pictured skiers to embrace a life of wholehearted devotion to Jesus Christ, an adventure that far surpasses any temporal thrills.
3. Mount Washington is part of the Presidential Range, which has many peaks named after US Presidents. A strenuous hiking challenge called the Presidential Traverse provides a route to climb several peaks. Due to weather challenges, hikers can stay in Appalachian Mountain Club huts along the way. Pray for a duo who are preparing to hike the Presidential Traverse this summer, that they will attend a Biblical church service in their hometown this spring, and hear and believe the gospel.
