Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Old Forge.
1. Old Forge, New York, is known as a base camp for the Adirondacks, and has about 360 permanent residents. Winter tourism is a big draw to the community. The second picture above is in a shopping center full of interesting stores. Pray for the woodworker who made the pictured chairs to come to know Christ, that he may have his own chair at the Lamb’s table in heaven.
2. There are three churches in Old Forge, but the doctrines they espouse do not line up with the gospel. Pray for the Lord to send (and continually open doors and provide for) a church planting team to start a Scripturally sound church in Old Forge.
3. Another shop in Old Forge is a bookstore that features a lot of cookbooks. Pray for a Christian tourist who will visit Old Forge this year to have and take an opportunity to witness for Jesus to a worker in that bookstore.
