Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Tumbler Ridge.
1. Tumbler Ridge is a rural area in the Canadian Rocky Mountains, located in northeastern British Columbia. There are about 2,400 residents of Tumbler Ridge. Yesterday there was a school shooting at the pictured high school, in which 10 people (including the gunman) were killed, and 25 injured. Pray for the Lord to help the families involved as they process everything that happened / the resultant changes.
2. Tumbler Ridge Fellowship Baptist Church is one of four churches in the town, and has a very Biblical doctrinal statement online. Pray for the Lord to use this church to reach many people with the gospel during this time, when questions of eternal importance are potentially at the front of people’s minds.
3. The shooting yesterday was the worst mass shooting to occur in Canada in 40 years. Many world leaders have called Canada’s leaders to offer their condolences. Another current issue in Canada is legislation that limits freedom to proclaim what the Bible says. Pray for the Lord to protect His children and ministers, and for national leaders to make policy decisions based on truth.
