Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of La Chorrera.
1. Notice the stones that were painted to match the house. Someone was creative and resourceful enough to use what was available to enhance the attractiveness of the property. Pray for the Lord to work in the life of that individual today, opening his or her heart to the gospel.
2. La Chorrera means “the waterfall / a strong stream or gush of water.” There are several waterfalls near the city, including El Chorro, which can be accessed by walking trails. In John 7:37-39, Jesus compared the Holy Spirit to rivers of living water, a promised gift for anyone who comes to Him. Pray for Christians in La Chorrera to live in the reality of that living water’s sustaining / refreshing Presence today.
3. Pray for the leaders of biblical churches in La Chorrera to have the wisdom of God in planning and implementing strategies to reach their city with the gospel.
