Concerns:
1. Mass shooting yesterday in Australia against a Hanukkah celebration:
Hanukkah is the festival of lights. Pray for a Jewish family who was at Bondi Beach during the shooting to put saving faith in the Light of the World that cannot be overcome by darkness (John 1:4-5, 8:12).
2. Megaquake alert in Japan:
Because of continuing off-shore seismic activity, concerns regarding a potential megaquake are very real. Pray for the salvation of a seismologist working for the Japan Meteorological Agency.
3. Because we prayed before:
Last winter, TGP hosted a virtual prayer walk through 71 miles of New York City. Currently, Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani is preparing to take office on January 1, 2026. Many of his policies and plans run counter to traditional American and Christian values. Pray for Christians in NYC to remember the prayer of Acts 4:29, and likewise receive boldness to continue speaking the Word of God (v. 31).
Praises:
1. Many attended Saturday’s Christmas party for inner city children in Boston, Massachusetts. There were a few professions of faith in Christ!
2. Despite challenges, churches around the world continue to proclaim the gospel this Christmas season.
3. God is always on His throne! (Psalm 2)
John 8:12
