Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Tokyo.

1. The pictured business on the corner of today’s major intersection stop has the following words printed on the glass of both stories: “Going Beyond the Ordinary.” Pray that an employee there will go beyond the ordinary human way of living, and respond in faith to the Spirit’s pull toward the extraordinary possibility of a dynamic personal relationship with the one true God.
2. Near our location is the Carpe Diem Jiu-Jitsu School. Carpe Diem is Latin for “seize the day.” Pray for a student there who is anxious about the possibility of an impending megaquake (see yesterday’s post) to seize this current day of life to its fullest by trusting Jesus, and thus preparing for eternity.
3. Jesus’ post-resurrection seaside conversation with Peter could be summarized this way: “Don’t worry about your past, don’t worry about your future, don’t worry about other people; follow Me.” (John 21) Pray for all Christians who pass through the intersection of Route 413 and Kitasaka today to live out these instructions as well.
Psalm 47:2
