Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Tokyo.

1. Monday evening (morning in the USA) a 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit northern Japan, with 51 reported injuries. For people in the vicinity of an earthquake that strong, it is impossible to stand upright because of the intense shaking. The earthquake occurred about 400 miles from Tokyo. but was strongly felt in Tokyo. Pray for those who were injured to find ultimate refuge in the God of Psalm 46, Who is infinitely more stable than the shifting earth over which humans have no control.
2. Currently, Japanese authorities have issued a high level megaquake warning, urging people along Japan’s 800 mile long Pacific coast to prepare evacuation plans should the need arise. Because of the catastrophic damage that would happen if such a megaquake / resulting tsunami occurred, this is the highest alert level possible, and remains in place for at least a week. The center-of-picture vending machine is in an underground subway stop. Pray for someone who will soon be purchasing food from this machine, and is very worried about the safety of even using the subway system, to hear the gospel, believe, and know God’s peace.
3. Pray for unbelieving relatives of Christians in Tokyo who have heard the gospel before from their relatives, and have rejected it, to have the truth brought to their minds again today by the Holy Spirit, and this time, to believe. We are praying for people who could be on the very brink of their eternity.
