Pray for the Lord to send out workers to the harvestfield of Faith.
- Straddling the dividing line of Europe and Asia, Istanbul is home to around 16 million people, making it one of the world’s most populated cities. Faith is a district of Istanbul, and is the location of historic Constantinople. Pray for the five people pictured above to hear / understand the gospel this year, and believe.
- Two major fault lines are located under Istanbul. Two days ago there was a large earthquake that originated in the Sea of Marmara, directly south of Faith. No casualties were reported, but around 200 people were injured, with most of those injuries occurring as people jumped from buildings due to panic. Turkey experienced a major / deadly earthquake two years ago, and fear swept the city as people remember that quake and feared the worst from the one this week. Over 100 aftershocks have been recorded since Wednesday. Pray for the 100 most fear-filled people to learn about the God Who is a refuge even in terrible earthquakes, and find peace (both salvific and emotional) in Him (Ps. 46).
- Pray for Christians in Istanbul to have many Divine appointments to extend God’s offer of peace to their fellow residents.
